My ship names are inspired by different franchises. Lets start with Cowboy Bebop:
Anaconda (explorer) Bebop I:
Anaconda (material gathering) Bebop II:
Anaconda (passenger transport) Bebop III:
FDL (pvp) Swordfish II:
Imp. Clipper (pirate ship) Hammer Head:
Vulture (pvp) Red Tail:
Some others after the Alien franchise:
Gunship (pvp) Sulaco:
AspX (material gathering ) Narcissus:
DBX (bubble ship) Betty:
Then i have named my Cobra (pvp) Aurora (who doesnt know that ship):
My Cutter (pvp) is named Sea Duck (from Tale Spin):
My Corvette (pvp) is named Yamato (after the anime Space Battleship Yamato):
The Keelback (pvp) is named "Vache qui rit" what means the laughing cow in english (its cheese i know but it just fits lol):
My two Pythons (mission runner and mining ship) are named Stingray I+II
My Adder (pvp) is called Buzzer
My Chieftain (pvp) is called Sea of Sorrows
Imp. Courier (pvp) is called Roadrunner
Imp Eagle (racing) is called Rapid Rabbit
And as last my Sidewinder whos called Mosquito

Blatant Compensation- Corvette, is currently gathering dust.
Nocte Angelus- 760 ton cargo Cutter.
Majestic Space Willy- My Orca, which is an exploration or blockade runner depending on the internals.
Bigger On The Inside- My passenger/cargo Python.
Spacey McPlaneFace- Mining Clipper.
Interstellar Bovine- T-10 battlecow.
Id Amo- Chieftain. I don't have an exact use for it yet but it's fun to fly.
Fulgur- Racing/corrosive transport Courier.
Storage Pancake/Brick 1&2- AspX and two T-7s, used for their names.
Pychotic Canadian- Planetary assault Viper MK III.
Can't Spell Nutrition- Dual frag cannon Vulture.
Taxi #42- 40ly Hauler.
The Fitnessgram Pacer- Exploration/Rescue Conda.

I have a red imperial courier called Swordfish II, good to see the Cowboy Bebop love!!
My trusty old Vulture has been stripped down and retired, with its name transferred to my new Corvette.
My only ship wich is Corvette is named Vengeful Spirit.

I currently have Vogon Poet (Cobra MkIII) and Insufferable Intruder (DBX).
ETA: If anybody is looking for inspiration, I highly recommend the webcomic Schlock Mercenary. All of the ship names are decent, but I find the Ob'enn warships particularly amusing.
