Oh, it came.
It is not: as best you can tell from the screenshot, it's a megaship.
Anyway, it's not mine, the source is Blackstar, since renamed.

5000 ARX, per station.
You get 5 free renames using the random generator, which can be used an unlimited amount of times per rename.
Paying the 5000 ARX also unlocks unlimited renaming, again, on a per single station basis.
Edit: It would cost me 255,000 ARX to use custom names for all 51 of the potential stations and settlements in the system I'm currently colonizing.

I must have checked the System map at least four times while searching specifically for the port name option, and could not find it—until I chose Orrery view accidentally, which changed the thing on the right to Description instead of System colonisation, showing the option:

- Above the Launch is the Asteroid base symbol.
- Opening the Services shows the Coriolis symbol.
- The walls have the Megaship symbol.
I'm not sure why you're arguing so hard that the screenshot wasn't from a player-named station. I already linked to the source and I already said they changed the name ......... feel free to visit it in Puppis Sector ON-T b3-5. Here's the stream, skip to 10:52:10 and 10:58:40:
The question was is station naming already in game, the answer is yes.
Probably a just a copypasted asset, but you can tell the difference is by looking at available services. Fleet carriers have a list of active/inactive services, as well as ownership, and docking access info. The player created megaship doesn't seem to have service info available yet or ownership, and docking access is "unknown". This could be due to the megaship being newly spawned and lacking updated info, or something FD has to rectify on their end with the API.
TLDR: look up aaaaaaaaa on Inara and compare the two results.
