Need help for placing water (e.g. Silvarret's Japanese Macaque Habitat)

Hey guys!
I need help with placing water because I cannot find a solution for the problem.
I have had it with a few situations already, but the most recent I have with Silvarret's Japanese Macaque Habitat. I downloaded the park and took the habitat out of it to put it in my franchise zoo. So far so good. Problem: The water is not placed with it and I cannot place it on the right hight.
I put a screenshot together for you, it's down below :)

The water should be placed directly in the middle between the two blue lines which marks placeable water. But in the middle there will not be even a notice of obstruction or something, it's just not possible.
Does somebody know how I can change that or make it possible?
I tried it already with deleting the ways around it and also the fence, with making an edge at the waterline, but it does not help at all. Currently, there are no animals in the habtit.

Thank you :D

You probably have to lower the habitat a bit into the ground when you place it. Try to find a visual element in the habitat at the right water level as a “level marker” and then select the entire habitat with the I key to lower it somewhat (not sure if that works for habitats, though) or get a fresh copy from the workshop and place it with the X function. I don‘t know if you can place WS habitats on top of existing scenery. If yes, place a rock at your zoo’s ground level and try to align the visual element with that level. Or you could just eyeball it since you already have an idea of how much it should be lowered. You might have to fiddle a bit with that and maybe repeat the placement, but I hope that you’ll find the correct or an easily adjustable height.

This is a WS item from the Beta. Now, a lot of players add level markers to their habitats to show how deep it needs to be lowered into the ground to help avoid this kind of issue.

@Jileha : I tried what you told me and it took a lot of trial and error, but finally it worked. I had to place the whole habitat anew and put it slightly higher, not lower, because there was some trouble with the terrain around it, apparently. Well, the solution actually was that the habitat was placed down with water, I could not get it working with a waterline between those blue lines, but well... habitat is in the zoo and working!
Thank you so much! :D

Glad it helped! Water is rather quirky in PZ. There is an interesting and helpful video by Rudi Rennkamel on YouTube where he experimented a bit with the water levels.
