Need help repairing Newton Hub.

That's what I thought. Managed to get into the 'sell' commodities list with the mouse and sell my indium. Couldn't do it with stick controls though I bought the indium that way.

Thanks for help.

Welcome to the crazy, frustrating - but ultimately rewarding - world of station repair. 🙂

For reference, if you're on console, you need to press the "Compare" button to get the screen up, quit the compare screen, then you should be able to navigate the commodities to sell. It's a known bug.

Heyo! Managment for Operation Ida here, I would love to facilite your effort on Newton Hub. The more we share this burden of repairs the faster and more enjoyable it is. Let me do my usual supply source research and where to pay off fines for Newton Hub then I'll drop you a link. o7

Here is our data on every damaged station:

Here is the sheet for Newton Hub:

Can't sell cargo if buy list if empty (workaround)

Dropped a few k tons of synthetic fabrics, needed a break from the combat grind, and since I was in the neighborhood...

I would love if FD would allow us to jettison cargo outside the station too, and let worker/loaders/skimmers/limpets from the station go collect it all by itself.
That way larger ships that can't fit into the mail slot ( such as Panther Clipper or fleet carriers ) could help us out.

Sure, we would not get paid. But it would make it somewhat faster.

I left Newton after a bad run where I forgot to request landing permission and then had to go find IF. Figured it was time for something else.

I'll be back later this PM.

I've supported tonight by delivering 3000 units of Power Generators.

I've been rewarded with some rubberbanding and this view...

On PC. But thanks for the tip.

Deliverered Indium while also running source and return missions today.

I am planning to go there again tonight. This is very exciting.

Once Newton Hub is restored to its former glory, we can celebrate! And then I will start doing missions there to see if there are clues leading to Raxxla.

Will be amazing!

That can be annoying.

Sometimes they appear almost immediately.

Sometimes they are there after your next trip, it shows easier if you are alternating 2 or more commodities.

Sometimes they appear the following day.

Sometimes the numbers drop after the Thursday update. More noticeable if you are the only one working on a particular station.

And sometimes they never seem to appear at all:-(

I did some runs but my PTSD acted up when I was dead tired so I had to abort and just try to log back in in the morning to finish up. Even then I got the PTSD so I need to scale my game time down again.
But up to that point, it was very interesting and fun.

Status atm:
Only these things remain:
Beryllium 75% (25,939) profit: 820cr/t (produced by LEVI-MONTALCINI PORT in same system)
Gallium 58% (24,185) profit: 800cr/t (produced by CHAPMAN ORBITAL in LHS 302 system (6.96LY) )
Synthetic Fabrics 49% (67,093) loss: 170cr/t (produced by LEVI-MONTALCINI PORT in same system)
Power Generators 48% (38,045) profit: 410cr/t (produced by NAGEL HUB in AL MINA system (11.20LY) )

(profit/loss is if bought @ galactic average, every cr under GA is another cr profit)

Optional:
Food and medicine

Too far away to do anything about it - more than 50k ly. You'll have it fixed, broken and fixed again before I could get there.

Been dropping 724 Tons of Synthetic fabric each night the last few days. Seen the need for SF drop from 71k down to current 67k, but it's going to take a while.

Lem base in Chaac system (I think those are the names, but I'm at work) is close (< 16ly I think) with the coriolis just a few ls from the entry point. And you can make a small profit. Each trip isn't much longer than the in-system hop, and the in-system producer of SF doesn't have a pad for my T-9.

Nice to see the progress in this.
