Need help, the animals looks like totally blurry!

With me, the animals, rocks, trees .... are not displayed correctly. It looks totally blurry, as if the graphics are not loaded properly yet. Have already looked around in the options and tried it but it does not change, despite Ultra settings. Does anyone have the same problem? Have already reinstalled the game, did not help. The drivers are all up to date. It seems to me that the settings I make are not taken over in the game.

Here you can look how it looks like with me ... Really annoying.

I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm German.

Do you have a CPU with an integrated graphics chip? If yes, please check that the game is using the correct graphics card - it's in the graphics options, somewhere at the top ("adapter", IIRC).

I have the same problem but i figured out my Geforce is overwriting the games settings with its own recommended settings, thats why my own settings in the game are not working properly. I had to reset them so i can change them ingame. (still, its looking at my graficcard and its not powerful enough, so its downgrading the grafik quite a bit)

Hiya, we're aware of blurry animals and are looking into the issue. We'll update you when we know more!

Most of the people with the problem have the nvidia geforce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card.. maybe that helps by finding the problem?
I have the same issue when playing on my laptop, so I had to move to my desktop pc, but it has less power than my laptop :(

I'm getting the same issue, with a GTX 1050 2GB (not the ti) that many other people with the same card have reported, if knowing that helps at all. :)

The weird thing is with me, some textures load fine, like the floor textures. Environment textures are 50/50, and animals don't at all. The Chinese Pangolins loaded their high res textures the first time I played, now they won't load at all.

How is the NVidia software over-riding the in-game settings? And how did you change that?

Uhh i got into the game settings IN the Nvidia Software for planet zoo, went to the little wrench and clicked on reset. (its german for me tho). It got to the settings i put into the game but my computer did not take it well at all so i changed it back to the recommended settings of my grafic card. it looks hella ugly but at least its playable.

Still, i dont know why its so demanding. I play Witcher 3 in ultra without problems. This game? Nope. Gonna get on lowest settings or the game is unplayable (besides the bugs).

I feel the same, I can also play The Witcher 3 without any problems on the highest settings. At Planet Zoo, it's still so blurry after the patch. I hope the problem is resolved soon, because as it is, I will not play it.

I've experienced a new development to this bug as I've been trying hard to play with it... I was creating blueprints in sandbox mode when suddenly, right before my eyes... All the textures appeared clear as day!! I was placing an object on top of a board... But ... When I moved the object to the other side of the board... Textures went blurry (not just the objects, foliage and everything ) ... When I repositioned it back where it was originally... Textures restored! I kept fiddling around with it and literally controlled the textures before my eyes... So far I've only seen this happen in sandbox mode.. very strange but textures are still blurry for me...

I also have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and my animals aren't blurry but all my sign textures and decorative elements look very blurry, I have also tried all settings and nothing changes. Hope they fix this on the next patch.

Help!!! I constantly have blurry animals and don’t know how to fix it. My PC has the minimum Specs and all the other objectsclause are not blurry. Can somebody help me!

Likely caused by a weak graphics card , a low amount of vram (like a card with 2gb) will struggle with the amount of objects ingame especially if one has multiple dlc packs installed. The 'fix' is to either keep your zoo a small size to prevent stressing out the computer which results in blurry textures or upgrade the graphics card
