If you are interested in this game, there's no way you'd give up just because it's hard to figure out. In many ways this game is great because it doesn't hold your hand and if anything, tries to be a world, in the sense that just like in the real world, there isn't some quick course that teaches you everything you need to know, and you have to use intelligence and deduction to work out a lot of it.
Which is weird that Nerd bashes that - he normally hates hand holding in games.
But yes, clearly he has no interest in the game, or is expecting it to be something else, so the difficulty of access is a problem rather than a refreshment
