I think they do read the forum and the questions that pop up here are pushing the release of PP2 further and further away.

I remember last time they indicated the June stream would have more on the T8 (kinda obviously) but also vaguely specified "some other things", which was far more intriguing to me. Hoping for first hints on the New Mystery Feature but that's probably wishful thinking on my part.

By the way about PP2.0, in fact, there are only two streams, this week and at the end of July, the third stream will be after August 7.

August 7th is the release of the Python 2 for credits.
PP 2.0 was said to arrive during Summer, which gives FD until September to release it.
Anyway August 28-29, the next stream is the end of summer. So in essence for the story of PP2 all the same 2 streams. Unless PP2 is moved to the end of the year ... or next year.
Unfortunately I won't be able to see this livestream live - for the first time ever. I'll definitely watch it post-stream but hopefully I'll be able to get the paint jobs (if there are any) afterwards, maybe by watching a partner stream.

Now that we know they're working on PP2.0, I'd far rather have them take their time and make it right, than rush it and make it meh. Summer would be fine, but honestly, winter is when the gaming really goes on.
So anyway, regarding Powerplay 2.0 and less heat-induced complaining, I’m going to go ahead and say it will probably end up dropping once the final Titan is turned into a star for a few seconds (aka it gets destroyed). I could at least imagine that is the timeline for it but it might be early fall by the time the last one goes down, at a pace of 20-ish control systems cleared per week. Because Raijin, Thor and Cocijo hold almost 500 controls between the three of them… well, ok, if the pace remains at around 20, it would be until November from here, so maybe winter.
But it is worth keeping in mind there’s been hints at this Thargoid retaliation thing so who knows what that’ll do to either make things go faster… or less fast, but unless 30+ controls establishes itself as a clearance pace, it’ll be a long few months ahead with (some) Titans still around.

I somehow don't think the thargoids are going away any time soon. I'd suspect PP2 to be unrelated or maybe even incorporate the thargoid presence.
Maybe all the powers are getting carrier fleets so they can escape the destruction of the bubble with their ragtag followers along looking for a safe haven.
May also be giving Frontier too much of a benefit of a doubt, when I could see them using the Titans no longer toying around as the lore excuse for why powers are reset, providing that they will be.
(I assume so, in my relative lack of information about it, only a few bits read in discussion threads after details were shared on a stream.)
