20 or even ~30 more species are perfectly plausible at this point
Nothing confirmed yet, no. But there are some signs that imply we do not need to worry about PZ ending before the end of 2022 and personally, I think if sales are good, even a few more animal packs after that wouldn't be totally unrealistic. What did you mean by 20 to 25 more animals? Was that about how many more species left to be confirmed in Planet Zoo?
Seriously, the addition of 4 more DLC slots has put my mind at ease far more than I'd like to admit.I can say I have never been so positive and relaxed about the future of PZ as I am at the moment.
5, as far as I know. Though I admit, when the first signs of flying showed up, I was sure they would not stop ater this year. But what gave me even more hope was the very good feedback in the official streams and also on here for the pack. It also seems like it sells like sliced bread and the Devs do orientate more on what animals players wish for (probably also by looking at random goats awesome meta-list) and it seems to pay out for Frontier. So, if the trend continues throughout 2022... who knows, who knows.Seriously, the addition of 4 more DLC slots has put my mind at ease far more than I'd like to admit.

Yes, lets make it 21The Asian small clawed otter only rang 20 currently? Lets change that.
Hi @Swjosdotschka ! Happy to contribute. I've also opened two threads yesterday because there are some things I really wanted the devs to hear. I have to say it has been a lot of fun to read the nice comments. I'm probably going to stay an active member on this forum from now onI can second that @TheHippoGirl . Awesome selection. Thank you for taking the step and registering to the forum. The more people add to the list, the more helpful it will be for the devs. Hope to see you around here in other topics as well.
Those were not on my list but I would like to have them too. I would have included them on my list if I had 25 spots instead of 20.The Asian small clawed otter only rang 20 currently? Lets change that.
Cool. Not often do we get new members that stay an active part of the community✌Hi @Swjosdotschka ! Happy to contribute. That should be 20-25 at minimum too, more than likely. It could be.....doing the math, well it could be whatever Frontier chooses if they increase pack counts, but right now, could be as much as 40 more animals.Nothing confirmed yet, no. But there are some signs that imply we do not need to worry about PZ ending before the end of 2022 and personally, I think if sales are good, even a few more animal packs after that wouldn't be totally unrealistic.
I was refering to the thinking if we shoukld shrink the meta list down to 15 animals or even expand it, as the numbre of animals we get are of course linked to the time length of official support and dlcs.
I can say I have never been so positive and relaxed about the future of PZ as I am at the moment.
Yep, with 5 packs 25 animals are given, though the meta list contains only habitat animals, so we are talking about 20. But yes, I'd say "at least". Would be really surprising if we don't have at least one animal pack among it.That should be 20-25 at minimum too, more than likely. It could be.....doing the math, well it could be whatever Frontier chooses if they increase pack counts, but right now, could be as much as 40 more animals.
Well, there had always been one more after the NA pack. This update added 4 on top of that. So I was totally expecting just one more before this, but now it looks like we have potentially 5 more to look forward to.5, as far as I know.
If what was found in the files turns out to be legitimate, then it seems like they have got the message. So now the Capybara has more votes than what it garnered at the end of the top 30 list. Frontier are you reading this? The message is loud and clear.
