Never say never :D There are twelve more weeks beyond Xmas for a potential alpha to fill in, and we have had 'the surprise' teaser which showed combat.

Happy to be wrong though...

I think there will be no dev diary. They said that something special will come in December. We got new trailer focused on combat. That's all.

I think they mentioned that the combat focused Dev Diary would come in December and also we would get something special (the trailer). I hope we getit this week...

Two options:

1) Apply reverse psychology:

"The obvious time to drop the Dev Diary is after the Thursday final stream with the twitch giveaways. And we wouldn't want fdev to be accused of being obvious, I think Tuesday would catch everyone out" 😇

2) Use the power of forum tantrums. Get Wimmer to organise his DOOM buddies and throw a tantrum - in the past that has been a reliable way to get results. Far more reliable than a 2 month old thread politely wondering if it will be this Tuesday ;) So basically it's all the fault of the DOOMsters not being negative enough to get it shipped :ROFLMAO:

We say: it's better to be pleasantly surprised than to be unpleasantly disappointed. ;)

Personally I'll join the doom prophets though and say that not just the dev diary, but Odyssey itself is a lie. David Braben went to Mars years ago, when you see him in videos it's just a clever AI so nobody gets suspicious.
