4 games are now included in my radar for 2020.
First: Planet Coaster Console edition
The game has been around since 2016 but I am definitely looking forward to the console port. It will be interesting as I want to see how Frontier has adapted the controls of a game primarily made for PC work with controls and console specs. It is already a fun title and this may lead to a potential port of their Planet Zoo game since they are both of the same series.
Second: Crash Bandicoot 4
Everyone knows what this game is, and I am excited for it. I was concerned with how the game could work as a new title could make or break what the games are known for. What got me excited is that some youtubers that I follow got access to the demo of this game, and their experience plus the footage of those levels really sold me the idea that this game will be a new, refreshing, and faithful entry to the first 3 games on the original grey box.
Third: The Eternal Cylinder
This is not as known but I love what this game is building up to be. It started as a side personal project in the ACE team from 5 years ago (who are behind the Rock of Ages games) and it looks like a fun retro sense of adventure. If Spore was more serious, linear, and focused on deeper platforming gameplay, this could be it. Plus the premise of the game's settings has definitely got me hooked in.
Fourth: Prehistoric Kingdom
This has been an indie dinosaur tycoon game that has been in the furnace since I believe 2015. It has been a game I was expecting for the longest time since the last dinosaur focused tycoon game was Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. Now we have Jurassic World Evolution and I love that game, but this game is still in my radar since I backed it up. I am looking forward to when the game gets Early Access released supposedly sometime this year. It will be fun to finally dive right in!
