NEW LAUNCHER WON'T ACCEPT MY VALIDATION CODE

Same issue, Steam can't seem to get online for some reason. Launching Elite via the Frontier launcher gives the same problem, the security code fails.
However my Epic account does work so it seems to be Steam specific

I'm starting to think that this problem is connected to Steam. I tried to log onto several online games that I have either purchased or setup through my Steam account. I tried to connect with my War Thunder, Star Trek online, and of course my Elite Dangerous accounts through Steam and was unable to connect with any of them. I then signed onto my War Thunder account using my original account signup information with War Thunder, thus bypassing Steam, and was able to connect with no trouble. I can open up games that I purchased directly from Steam. I just can't connect with any of the online games that I setup through Steam.
