13 is all that is possible in solo. People have reported up to 38 in open/group. That might be the max at this site.
that aint fair if frontier is going to allow player harassment by gankers then who in there right mined is going to play in open and get your ship blown up 100 times
I just went to Meane and handed in the mission then as soon as I left the dock I got the same mission again, via a message. I assume (if I could be bothered to do so) that I could go out therre, get a bunch more scans and continue.
I also assume that if I managed somehow to get the complete set I'd get the 100 million credits but honestly, it'd be quicker for me to just do community goals, grinding and trading to get there.
There are a bunch of pilots in open keeping watch over those in the SRVs doing the science. It's a fair fight now, not just a gank.

So you have actually gotten the mission back after handing it in as of the 29th? The reason I am asking was there was a galnet post about the end of Ram Tahs Data event on the 25th so can people currently get the mission again?
The CG for Ram Tah is over. All the data wanted for that CG has been collected. However, to continue the decoding and presumably to advance to the next site, you still need a full set of decoded data which requires you to go to the site and decode the obelisks in the right sequence to continue. That means the mission to decode them given by Tam Rah must still run.
The mission, changing the SRV cargo for scanning the obelisks is so boring I lost interest for going to other sites and just cashed in the first one.

I must say, crazy amounts of Kudos to the guys that figured this all out. It's hard enough doing it even with the instructions. Finally, after three sessions, I've finally got all the bits, so next is to start actually doing the decoding.
Even though I'm just trying to read the map, it's fun just doing the driving around. Getting a lot better at driving and flying the SRV, too.
Fantastic detail in the ruins - top marks to the artists and designers. Wish there was more than 4 weeks to do the mission, though - it would be nice to be able to keep coming back to it and have time to do other things in the meantime. If I finish the mission, I may never want to land on a planet again.
