Coaster Crazy New Rollercoaster Game: question to staff.

I'm new here and I've read through all the posts on this topic. I have a few questions...

1. Will we be able to make videos with the Coaster Editor?

2. RCT3 has the odd habit of changing the location of the sun rather suddenly when making videos. Has there been any consideration of locking the sun into place when making videos?

3. Will we be able to import Coasters made with RCT1/RCT2/RCT3 and/or NoLimits or other programs?

4. If No. 3 is Yes, then will we be able to tweak the coasters to smooth out the bumps and curves?

They won't reveal any of such info there isn't even a BETA yet

But i can answer some to save time:

1) This wouldn't be made till after BETA
2) Post BETA modification assuming there is even day/night transformation.
3) No. It has no relation to RCT at all even the formats of RCT are depreciated by better methods now.
4) See 3.

Just wanted to say without dirtying up the beta-signup thread that I wish Frontier the best of luck with this game. It's been a while since roller coaster and theme park enthusiasts got a game that appeals to us. Lets hope its the game we've all been waiting for. :)

I would sign up for the beta but I don't think my laptop can handle anything beyond RCT 3. So I'll just sit here twiddling my thumbs in anticipation for the official unveiling.

Where is the "beta signup thread" you are referring to? Is there a separate thread or are you referring to this thread?

Michael, in your opinion, do you think that we would be able to create flat rides to work in your new game?

I'm super excited about this game!
Michael, can you say anything about whether the game is going to be a theme park simulator or strictly rollercoaster designer?
My favorite part of all the previous rollercoaster games is building a complete park - with scenery and tools for making custom dark rides, etc. I would love if this was also an option in your game.
Also, "sandbox"-mode (or similar), pleeease! :)

Thanks!

AS Sirchick said on the first page, i hope that the good peeps at Frontier have seen the benefit of making a game that allows it's community the ability to create Custom Content in order to fill a certain need in the game. whether it is to fill out the theming on a certain ride, or maybe to allow people to build a FrontierLand, or Space Mountain, or some other recreation.

no matter how much content you place in a game, there will always be hundreds of things the community can find a need/use for. and eventually the smart people WILL find a way to get it in their game. so please, save yourselves the trouble of trying to prevent the inevitable. embrace it.

Yes Sim City for 2013 also realised the community keeps the game alive too and they are allowing custom content ! Its nice when companies listen to their fans!

Mhhh, since it is coming out for Ios, is there any change we will see a Android version? My Galaxy Note would love it!

Excellent coming news. Probably the most awaited news. Nice to see Frontier moving forward with this. Was starting to think I might have to find an indie developer to do a theme park creation game. Not had a good one since 2004 now. Thrillville was good but totally different. Will be nice to be back to the classic theme park games.
