New ships for 2025: more craziness / variety please

Of course, I would not say no to a Moray Starboat - with bodies of liquid water on planets to explore....
I would say liquid surface instead of water alone. It would require some modifications like hull resistance to pressure, info about thrusters working in liquid environment, depth hud indicator with red mark indicating dangerous depth level- this can be simple constant variable set for each planet/moon in relation to gravity and liquid type- just to make things simpler. That would also pave way for gas giant atmospheric flight- the same thing can be applied to air pressure since ship would have stat staying how resistant to pressure they are. We can already assume ships are extremally resistant to heat and radiation from the simple fact of scooping fuel from the star.
I also think it is easier to add liquid generator model to planet generation system than plants and animal life to terrestial planets.

I'd love a ship that's so poorly designed that it would take some additional maneuvering to go through the mailslot (just barely, at that).
For example a ship so tall and thin that it has to access a station by laying on one side and then move along its Z axis.
And no docking computer able to handle it.

So I've been rolling this idea for a new ship that breaks the mould around in my head for a while and I feel it's fairly well-baked, so hear me out:

Tactical Carrier
Pad size: Large
Top speed: 120 m/s
Boost: 200 m/s
Maneuverability: 0 (T9 equivalent)
Laden jump range with engineering: 40 LY
Base shields: 400
Base armour: 800
Hull mass: 1,200T

Hardpoints: C1 x2
Core: C7 Power Plant, C7 Thrusters, C7 FSD, C6 Life Support, C6 Power Distributor, C7 Sensors, C6 Fuel Tank
Utility x6
Optionals: C8 x1, C7 x2, C6 x2, C5 x2, C3 x3, C1 x3

Unique ability: only ship able to fit the C8 Fighter Hangar which allows fielding 4 SLFs simultaneously. Can set 3 active NPC pilots. Ship structure has 2 bays built into the model in parallel (not pop-outs from the cargo hatch) that enables both launch and retrieval of 2 SLFs in tandem.

Role: does what it says on the tin. A glacial beast of burden solely suited for fielding a squad of SLFs. The 2 small hardpoints are more for flavor than actual combat worthiness (in any case, hardpoints retract when the ship is unmanned, if you're using the ship right). The C8 Hangar would be created to pair exclusively with this ship. This is an endgame ship for experienced CMDRs with deep pockets who can afford paying up to 3 NPCs the premium to get the most out of this ship, or those who have a host of buddies to telepresence with. It is rather handicapped in what it can do, and is meant neither as a PVP nor PVE pwnmobile. It just plays starkly different.

Actually I'd also like to see the opposite of "really small ship with 1 huge hardpoint". I'd like a chunky small combat ship with many small points. Something like the Type 8's 5S1M but on a Vulture style combat platform.

In addition to this I would like to see something large with the damage output equivalent to say an Anaconda but all small hard points.

Ok and what about design?

Do you have your favourite ship, design from for an example movies?

I would like to see something inspired by Rocinante.

From movies, Venture Star in Cameron's Avatar; Leonov from 2010: The Year We Make Contact.

Overall, my favourite design is propulsion bus at the bottom with 3 or 5 large main engines, topped with cargo and hab modules, overall a tall vertical cone shape bristling with guns, radiators and antennas. Like the one I built in Space Engineers:

....still reads better than my last doctor's prescription, though.

I used to have a poster by one of the classic sci-fi artists that I just can't seem to track down. The closest I can remember is the semi-organic 3-finned sleek ship from the cover of Anne McCaffrey's "Ship who sang". Would feature some very cool folding wings, which seems to be flavour of the month right now. Pretty sure Gutamaya could do it justice.
This one?

Agreed, I think this is one reason why the Cobra Mk5 has got me out of the Imperial Courier, I've got options now. A small HP with a small Feedback Cascasde Rail, another with mines. They may be small but they offer up some variety of play, and still can pack a punch
