New Custom Field will cater for this

basically you can create any new field, so maybe factions or just primary faction, distance etc.

That's what custom fields are for?

Sounds like there is some weird stuff going on with custom fields. That will be the first things I look at when I get home.

For the one about not showing if there is a space in it, does it have the whole thing in the custom_fields.txt file?

Commodity detail window doesn't seem to remember where I closed it ? Always open in the middle of the primary window for the program. ie over the station list.

Yes, in the custom_fields.txt it has the whole thing:

Station Type

Hi, ArchVI. I was browsing through your default_snippets file and noticed that the word "Thrusters" is misspelled. Should be Thrusters.

Edit: Damn. In the file, it's "Thursters". Should be Thrusters.

Those really are meant to be examples and not really used

. Supposed to make your own hehe. Thanks, I'll change it though.

In Machinery, Altmospheric Processors are spelt wrongly. In the default file it is "Atmosphereic Processors" which is wrong.

So far looks great. Just got home from work... and now I gotta leave again. I'm looking forward to running it through the paces tonight. I love the bonus feature in the about section...I'll never need Google again!

Copy the files that start "default_" and remove that prefix, in other words...

default_commodity_data.txt copied to commodity_data.txt
default_station_data.txt copied to station_data.txt
default_snippets.txt copied to snippets.txt

Now you can edit these new files to how you want them. If they aren't there then Cmdr's Log will use the default ones.

Everytime a new version comes out, you can check the default ones in the zip package with your personal ones.
