Next gen console update for PS5 And Xbox???

It's an entire game, the old game, Legacy, is not just the old Horizons minus Odyssey, everything is changed, it would be like porting an entire new game to console, if you think 5 devs tops is going to work when the entire dev team couldn't do it before, well dreams are free I suppose.

It's an entire game that would have to be ported for the Consoles, it's not just a "lets just package this up and send it over" type thing, probably months of work by a lot of developers with no income for their effort, and if it only ran on nextgen consoles that's a limited market already, financially it probably doesn't make sense.

I'm sorry but the next gen only argument is a bit of a lame duck ( in my opinion ) .
Even I understood that last gen was never going to manage and I upgraded to series X(at a time when series X was like Devs working on console ) , even PC players have to upgrade their PC if their system doesn't run it. So many would have upgraded just to play Elite.
Thats the annoying bit about Elite
Many console players have been forced to PC just to play Elite and a console is just about cheaper to a low end PC as I'm now finding out.
We didn't even see any benefits of the work that was supposedly done til sept Oct.
