No, Shadow Delivery smuggling missions are not to difficult!

I don't think the FAS is used by system security, though. At least, I never saw it in hundreds of missions.
They are present, last night I was interdicted by one for the 1st time, since I've been doing the run for a while, I'm guessing they're rare.

If all else fails shoot the cop (especially outside the bubble), they will stop scanning you. Since I fly a Python to max smuggling profits I'll emergency drop if a cop is harassing me, engage SR, change course and boost away. Not been caught yet.

I'm interested in your Python outfit for smuggling!

I use an Asp Explorer for smuggling. The main reason it's a good ship is because the heat signature is very small and it runs cool out of the box. I very very rarely get scanned and even rarer get caught. Every now and again I'd get a federal ship up my chuff, submit to interdiction and boost away. AspE is a pretty fast ship in normal flight mode.

For docking, always approach in super-cruise from the planet side, this will line you up more or less with the letter box.
I dock at 100% throttle until I'm about 300 yards from the letterbox and then set to zero throttle and burn out the rear facing thrusters - I use 3A Shields just to prevent damage in case I hit the letterbox or back of the station... it happens every now and again...
Exiting the station full power and boost out of mass lock, FA-off to face the jump point whilst still moving in a straight line away from the station, then FSD, FA-on, 100% throttle, boost, gone.

I find smuggling to be quite easy actually.

Now, I'm not smuggling much here, just a single illegal item, but that's enough. And interdiction? Don't make me laugh. Actually, do make me laugh, I love to laugh.

I have another video regarding Smuggling I'll have to upload later, but it deals with issues like "How to smuggle when you have a Docking Computer" (right-hand panel>Modules>Turn it off/turn it on once through the mail slot) and "How not to overheat" (creative use of Heatsinks without getting caught).
