No Ship Interiors: - Oops!

It's a long time since I played GTA5 but I think that had an in-engine animation sequence for getting in & out of cars (ie transitioning from FPS to driving game). In practical terms the player presses the 'get in / get out' button rather than a complex sequence of movements to climb out of the SRV & back in. I agree that would be an improvement over a simple transition, and I suppose it would look odd to other players watching you if you just magically appeared outside your SRV. I've never watched the cockpit of a ship as a player chooses to enter their SRV, I guess the avatar in the seat just vanishes?

Good point

I am not sure either how it appears

It's backwards compatible. That's it. It doesn't support any of the new features. There are no upgrades happening to the game to enhance it for next gen
It's a bizarre argument. I mean fdev aren't releasing 'next gen' versions every time a new graphics card series is released, it would be a waste of effort. Why in a game available on 3 platforms should we expect 'next gen' versions, differenciated from the current versions, because of new consoles? It makes no sense.

I've no doubt the graphics will be improved with Odyssey, you can see that in the hangar shot in the dev diary.

Bizarre.

You'll be able to run it in 4k on higher graphics settings.

You know, like if you got a better graphics card for your PC, which is what getting a new console basically is.

The planets are getting a graphical upgrade, and possibly some other stuff too.

I think what you're actually asking for, is for them to drop support for the lower end consoles, which will happen eventually, probably.

Not sure why you feel it's needed though.
