North america pack: The bet!!

One last bet before the announcement. Assuming we stick to the 7+1 animal pack style, choose the 7 most likely candidates in your opinion.

Take note: The likeliest, not the ones you want most.

Seems like there’s complete consensus so far on 5 species. That alone shows why the animal pack was a great move, because otherwise we’d be missing out on at least one of:

Beaver
Moose
Sea lion
Cougar
Alligator

For the last two slots I feel pretty confident that they’ll come from the pool of black bear, prairie dog, raccoon, and peccary. I flip flop on what I expect basically every few seconds, but I’ll go ahead and place my bet on:

Black bear
Prairie dog

…mainly because I’d prefer the other two and there’s been too much good news surrounding this update/pack already. Lastly for the exhibit there’s really no real reason to expect anything over anything else so I’ll go with:

Hellbender

Just a personal preference. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the axolotl or a snake. Really hope it’s one of the salamanders though. Hopefully not a snake or another insect.

Moose
Cougar
Beaver (unique rig)
Sea lion (unique rig)

Would love to get:
Wolverine (unique rig)
Prairie dog (unique rig)

Would probably get but not so happy about it:
Alligator (I hope it won’t take the slot perfect for armadillo or other unique animal, another crocodilian is just so meh)

There's no way of knowing for sure; they always have one or two animals no one expected...

Going by the meta list, it should look something like this:
  • Moose
  • California Sea Lion
  • Cougar
  • Beaver
  • Alligator
  • Wolverine
  • Red Fox
Looking at this, I think I know why they're making the North America pack an Animal Pack; half these animals work just as well outside North America as within...

Of course, they never follow the list completely; if they did, we'd have a porcupine instead of a second penguin... so... I dunno... probably like the above, but not exactly...

Been saying this basically ever since meerkat burrowing was revealed. I think they've got a much bigger chance than most people are expecting. They're definitely not at the top of my wishlist, but I think they're more likely than not especially considering this is an animal pack.
