Honestly armadillos are such underestimated creatures, as they are small, versatile and also just pretty cute.
I would personally prefer a southamerican species like the large hairy armadillo, as i simply think that they look cuter + their are atleast in europe no ninebanded armadillos in captivity, but i would gladly take it anyways. Adorable little critter
This would be ideal, the armadillo would be the mostly unexpected inclusion - though not completely since you mentioned it. I think the first six are the ones that mostly come to mind (maybe the wolverine less so), but that 7th spot is the randomizer. I'd go with something else for that 7th animal but at the same time would be very happy with this pack.
I agree about the armadillo - I love them, but I'd much rather see a more unique looking South American one. The nine-banded is slightly too garden variety (had to swerve to miss one just the other day) for my taste.

Although a moose makes sense in an European pack, I prefer to have it in the North America pack because I don't think a European pack would include both a moose and a deer. If I have to choose between moose and deer in a European pack, I would go for the deer and cry for having missed the moose.
I would buy this instantly.
I'd prefer the collared peccary over the alligator, but can't have it all. Your selection is marvelous.

I'd take out the moose and put in the collared peccary, but otherwise that's a great selection.

That would be neat - I'm not sure it would warrant an enrichment bonus but it would still be good if we could mix them without issue (like the okapi and bongo, for example).

If we get elk/wapiti instead of moose, they could have compatibility with the bison and pronghorn (both of which should get taiga biome compatibility)
I don't see how nonoverlapping ranges should be a deal breaker, considering that they'd at the very least share the North America and Aquatic tags and likely similar terrain requirements. And it's not like they can't be kept together in real life, since I know Louisville Zoo does just that. I really hope Frontier doesn't go out of their way to make them incompatible, because seal and sea lion mixes are one of the most common shared habitats you see in zoos, and it's not like we have the more commonly paired harbor seal in the game.
I really wish there was a chance for us to get the alligator snapping turtle as a habitat species primarily so it could be paired with alligators (and also because it's pretty much our only viable option for another habitat reptile that isn't a monitor, tortoise, or crocodilian).

That's true, I hadn't actually considered them since I can't imagine they'd ever be included outside of a proper aquarium expansion, which I fully do not expect. But you're right, they'd actually work 100% within the game's current confines which is more than can even be said of the semi-popular manatee.
