NVIDIA TITAN Xp(new!) - 3840 cores

I never understood how can they do that. What if someone steals it while it's standing there?
In my country, no courier can leave a package like that. The only way to hand it over is to receive your signature. If that's not available, then they return it to their warehouse where you have to pick it up yourself later.

i think there is a half way house..

i like that we often have an opton to leave with neighbour. For some things couriers guve us in the uk the option to leave in a safe or hidden place. i think if we check this box it is at our own risk (not 100% sure) but i would only do this (have only done this) with low value items.

of course if a delviery guy does this without asking 1st - my rift CV1 ended up left behind the bins in the pouring rain!!!! - then it is on them if it goes wrong.

OMGoodness, how jealous am I.....Enjoy those bad boys(Or Girls ;) ).

PURLEESE, report back on how ED runs with that setup...MOST interested!

I was also tempted to go SLI, but since it's not 'officially' supported in VR and most games don't tend to scale particularly well I thought I'd give it a miss this time around.

Good news is that I sold my 2016 Titan X(P) for £ 800 yesterday so I'm not that much out of pocket for the upgrade.

Please can you report on the performance of your new GFX card with ED ? I'm very interested to see how far you can push the HMD image quality and the other sliders !

Has anyone posted some good test to see how well they can hold 90FPS with their VR RES Increased?

Going off what this chart shows.

Going up to 1.5X is another 125% the pixels to render than our default 1.0 VR resolution. Its still less then rendering 4K but you do get diminishing returns on our super sampling with our current VR HMD screens once you go above 1.4X.

I have been wanting a 1080Ti to see if I could hold 1.25 or 1.5X at 90FPS in VR, but would it even be enough? Considering my 980Ti holds 90FPS at 1.0 with around 80% usage unless its in the back of a station or on a planet surface where it just isn't powerful enough even OC'ed to 1500Mhz. The power to render at 1.25X might be within the grasp of a 1080Ti/Xp, but 1.5X? Can it?
