Official FDev Damage Stats for Every Weapon

Just got my python destroyed in combat zone about 20-30 sec or so, from full shields and hull into zero, with 3-4 shots. I'm not angry or whatsever, but the man wonders, What was that? To take down a heavily armored even if poorly tuned Python this fast?

Sounds like rail Asps or Vipers with rails in the medium hard points (If your were killed by NPC). Conflict zones are all about avoiding too many attackers at the same time. 30-40 seconds sound like plenty to assess the situation, put 4 pips to SYS/shields and get out of the heat quickly.
If it was a player, Engineered guns are even more brutal.
Do you have engineered shields or at least shield cell banks? Did you have 4 pips to SYS?

In general, do not bring a Python to a conflict zone without 1-2 shield cell banks or plenty of engineering. Without, it is just a well armed trader.

I fly a Python in CZ without Engineers. It is not that bad, but yeah, it is kind of a gamble every time. They need to balance the game better, if you ask me. Nearly every ship is using the Plasmaguns and they can even take out the Condas shields within a few shots.

It's always very difficult to surmise what happened in a combat situation without video - even those us who have vid see things we didn't realise were happening when we review it.

In Open, the obvious answer might be a fully RNGineered player, although you should have seen his name on the rebuy screen if so.

Assuming in Solo, my immediate question would be whether multiple NPC's were shooting at you? A Python is quite a 'high threat' target and it only takes 3 or 4 of them with rails and plasma to do huge alpha, particularly if you had fewer than 4 pips to sys.

the problem is i was in the combat zone to gather engineering materials and unlock engineers.
