Oh dear, I need to CircumVENT!!!

Rumors of your long lost explorer data canister is spreading like wildfire in the galaxy!

Frontier Development may be listening..... it could be an AMAZING content boost to this game!

Do it. Go search for it.
what a good idea!!! (y), to return to the last place to pick up the box and continue where you left off.
my respects Arnoldo,, I would leave the exploration until new year

To be fair '1g' is anything but standard. Most Commanders are used to landing on 0.3g or less.

That's very true, but when atmospheric planets come out that's going to change dramatically, I can just imagine all the crashes as people first start trying to land on higher grav worlds. I landed on a nearly 3G the other day getting a scan for anemones, I can tell you I was very careful when remembering this thread!

When I'm after gathering mats or other random landing just because I seek out 2-3.5g worlds because I like driving the SRV on them so much more than bouncing around some <0.1g pebble. A little more care on the landing for a lot more fun driving is a worthy trade off.

Well, circumnav complete at last. Following the wee accident, I took a leisurely stroll around looking at WRs before picking an arbitrary start point for the start of my second attempt. Because of my wandering about after waking up in Explorer's Anchorage, my silly choice of re-starting point and a decision to go around t'other way, I've probably done over 1m Ly from my original starting point. Relly gonna need a new paint job on the Per Ardua....

Some stats from EDiscovery for the current trip (haven't yet collated the total figures):
Jumps: 4,009
Travelled Ly: 408,959.29
Premium Boost: 1,393
Standard Boost: 835
Basic Boost: 701
Scans: 29,484
Mapped: 212
Scan value: 835,497,193

I somehow missed my passing of the 4m Ly mark some 25,000Ly ago. Seriously hope i turned the lights off or I'll be facing a heck of a bill.

Now to head to a station somewhere, hand in my data then think about what to do next...

o7 Cmdrs..

Congratulations on completing your circumnavigation after that crash last year! I've been thinking of doing the same, but I'm not sure I have the dedication that you do.
