Oh dear! Station Markets gone into melt down?

Been trying to fob off a Cobra's hold full of Aluminium and all of the stations that normally take the stuff now have a massively cutdown list of trade goods available. And not one of them is buying Aluminium.

So, big server fail? Big client fail? Big PB2 prep fail? Anyone else getting borked markets? Enquiring minds need to know!

i think, there were just a bit more people trading since we were told our bank accounts will be transferred to PB2. ;)

I logged on a while ago to have a look at the current state of the markets and can confirm that the amount of commodities that Dahan was trading in was severely reduced.. :eek:

I guess it's part of the update procedure...

Freeport Mayor Jim "Toe-Cutter" McMaccinMack has attempted to impose some semblance of social order in the anarchic host system, declaring, "For seventy-two hours, it is now illegal to kill and eat your fellow Freeport residents - even IF they have no personal self-defence weapons".

ty for the confirmation. Guess I'll hold off now until PB2 is released then. And hope the hold contents are included in the compensation - not that 36T of Aluminium is going to break the bank balance. :D

As far as we know the only "Refund" you will get back is your ships Hull value (ship cost) and your credits in the bank ... no refund for cargo/weapons/armor or modules ...

Correct (edit: seems weapons/modules and armor won't be refunded).

Sell everything on your ship including your cargo. Lasers, launchers, missiles, scanners, repair units etc...
You can't sell your upgraded bulkheads so just downgrade them to normal ones for zero credits and you'll get a percentage of the cost of your upgraded bulkheads returned to you. I got about 100k back.

Basic hull value (e.g. Cobra 111k) and current bank balance only is what will be transferred over.

Phew - I was not sure about add ons - all weapons just sold in the nick of time - I sold my missile rack so nut sure if I could have sold my missiles separately?
Ah well

Wonder if Beam Weapons will work in Beta 2 looking forward to trying them out
