Yep. The fact it happens in Solo too makes having Solo almost pointless.
I've been playing for six hours and have gotten disconnected a minimum of 4 times per hour. Same thing yesterday (Saturday), but not as bad. Played for a couple of hours each day on Thursday and Friday with no issues.
Just returned to Sol after I was out exploring for the last two and a half months. Guess I will wait to sell my data until this crap stops.
I just can not believe how Frontier expects people to constantly put up with their poor design decisions.

Maybe something to do with the changes to the netcode, multiplayer etc? There's been quite a high player load the last couple of days - currently 10,700 on Steam alone. Yesterday it was 10k+ too.
No issues here, everything is so much smoother and quicker since 2.3.
I'm not experiencing disconnects, but I feel as if I'm spending much more time than usual in between jumps out there.
But like said, this should have been anticipated.

In the meantime I'm watching Rogue One... best Star Wars movie, ever. Can't believe I didn't see it in theaters.

FWIW, Plusnet FTTC here, southwest London. I generally get 60 down and 18 up.
But yes, it's been pretty flaky today. I'm sicker than a sick thing on international 'let's celebrate being sick' day at the moment, so rather than do all the gardening, fixing the dishwasher and other stuff I usually have no time for, I've been playing nearly all day.
Lots of crazy long HS jumps (yawn), several 'could not connect to matchmaking server' several times.
Frustrating as.
Also agree that if you're not using the new features, 2.3 is pretty flaky. Generally worse than 2.2.
Much as I love the game (since 1984!!), it's disappointing that the QA seems to have gone to hell in a handcart.

It seems to be mostly affecting Solo from what I can tell. My wife is playing Solo and is getting disconnected quite frequently this evening. I'm in Open and have only had a couple of disconnects, but it's a couple more than normal.
Got a feeling there`s a priority thing going on here. Looks like Solo go to the back while Open gets the main juice.

When I first fired-up ED this evening it was fine for about an hour but now I'm getting disconnected, literally, every 5 minutes or so.
Struggled along to complete a bunch of delivery missions that would have timed-out later tonight but that's my lot for the night.

how o play the game like this? 10-20min delay today in missions, mission board don`t refresh NEVER - EVEN staying 30MIN outside and going back to the station.
Why they just don`t reboot the server? i`ts clearly a issue!

Ireland. Multiple unable to connect to the matchmaking sever issues yesterday and today. Also severe lag. Unable to select game from menu after crash for about 5 Mins. Worst it's ever been for me.
