My "gameplay" over the past week has been to equip 21 ships with "new" G5 DD including Drag Drives at Palin. Collecting the materials, using the material traders, grinding the credits to have the ships transported out there (35 Million just for the Corvette...), doing the upgrades...

Not "fun" at all.

But, I'm happy with the performance upgrade, so...where's the new content that will let me use them?

You... uuh, DO ... uhh... know that you can pin the blueprints and use those from anywhere there's an outfitting station, right?

Presumably the "new content" has you on ignore or is flying solo/mobius in the game?

You transported 21 Ships out to the pleiades for modding? I guess its too late now but you could have saved yourself a lot of money just transporting a few which let you equip all thrusters and then just transport the drives to palin.

Agreed brother. When you engineer all that stuff. To do late game activities like BGS and Powerplay. All that time you spent engineering is put to the side. For passenger cabins and cargo space to min max. And then if you do it in open you are punished for being there because the person doing it in solo and private hold the advantage over you because they dont need as many defenses as someone would in Open play.

So literally none of that is used. Except for maybe certain stages like cop farming. Thats about it.

Should have taken the modules out and transferred then directly to Palin after flying there in a conda (fits size 5A-7A thrusters)

But on the spirit of your post. Yes please more content especially something that warrants this overpowered death machines we have now.

You could have just pinned the blueprint once and bought the experimental at Farseer.

You'll have to roll up new drives for this, but it's a lot easier than flying or transferring out to Maia.

Unless you have legacy drives. No clue what happens if you take legacy G5 DD to farseer, but I would guess grade 2 because she is a hateful old bag. Might as well just get new drives and start over at that point. Even if farseer converted legacy to G3, lord only knows how many rolls to get 5 maxed.

Legacy should be convertable via pinned blueprint. Seriously.

Solo runs on wing assassination missions are a blast! Still a bit easy even at elite, but far more entertaining.

Yeah, if I remember correctly she won't recognize them. So if you want to convert your old stuff, you have to go see Palin.

I just dumped all my old DD5s and rolled new ones.

Why would you need new content in order to enjoy faster thrusters? Asking for a friend.
