ok so massacre missions

MY massacre missions don't seem to work. im currently on a wing massacre mission in Shos against the Camorra and im at 33/48 kills. for some reason once i hit this the enemy stopped spawning altogether. i have logged out and in, left system and jumped back, and tried loading up with silver or gold to see what would happen. LITERALLY every other faction comes up excpet them: Purple crew, Dukes of hazard, Gold mafia etc. what is going on? this has been persisting for a few hours now. the mission ends in 2 days.

and before someone says it, no the mission target doesnt work either. going to the mission signal source doesnt spawn any mission targets either, just an Elite level ANANCONDA(on a competent ranked mission btw) that belongs to the jet crew family faction. even when attacked and new ships show up there is an array of ships. none of which are the mission target, but all expert level or above, usually cobras and vultures.

HELP, im not trying to lose the 17mil payout. i wanted to buy my type 10D with that money and been grinding awhile to get it. this is the second mission this month to do this. anyone confirm similar results?

used to drive me so mad when this occurred I stopped doing massacres.

only thing I might suggest if you've not tried already; scan the nav beacon (make sure it's the white one not the orange), I think something has been implemented in a recent update, at least with pirate Lord missions, that spawns targets either at the nav beacon or after scanning, back in supercruise

I can only write regarding my own experience.

Using the quoted above as an example. After you've engaged with the non mission target faction aligned Elite ranked Anaconda, which present at the mission related signal source. Other ships will drop in to the area. Some of those ships will be tagged as "Misson Target" they are the ones you're after.

ah see thats the thing. ive actually already done this. but the targets that spawn are blue mafia, purple crew, etc. none of them are even mission targets. or allied factions of said targets. but thanks the advice anyway

Hmmm. Okay, silly question time. You are dropping into the blue mission related signal sources?

Just a thought. As its a wing mission do you need to be in a wing to aquire the right amount of mission targets?
FD have a way of nerfing things like that (skimmer missions)
