I revisited the site of my one great disaster in the black on my next trip out, half to pretend I was looking for the wreckage and half to check if the planetary nebula I was about to jump to at the time had been tagged (it had) so I can sympathise with that urge.

Tempted to stop by the same planet just to show it two fingers!!
I did that....bad idea. I pancaked on a planet about 100ly from Sgr A* during DWE. I went back so the lines would join up in EDD
and with a plan to revisit the planet.Can't remember the exact cause now (windows update I think) but I momentarily lost helm control arriving into the system and got ripped out of super cruise at the star (I tend to arrive full throttle unless its a BH/NS/WD) and causing some module damage and around 0.5% hull [because sometimes I had 99% and others it was back to 100%]
Figured the system is jinxed and jumped out
No doubt I would have pancaked again...That was the *only* damage during the entire trip to BP (got plenty coming back due to taking too many chances, but that's a different story)
So yeah....caution Cmdr

Oh, don't worry ... the "poor progress" is only down to scanning all the extra goodies (ELW, WW, AW, etc) that now appear on non-NS systems.
