Oops the page you're looking for doesn't exist

Why is this the message I see every time I click on a support link? please. I really just want to know how to get the game to launch through steam. I purchased the original back in 2016 with all the things available through steam. Horizons/Season Pass/Commander Pack, all of it. When I launch the game though steam, I get the old style orange launcher and a popup stating it needs an update. I've made it high priority, restarted steam, unistalled/reinstalled the game twice, verified files, created a new frontier account and linked steam to a new account there even. Skipping steam and launching straight from the .exe gets me a different launcher but when I try to login, I get an endless cycle of verify/you need to purchase the game loops. On the website, when I link my Steam account, it says I don't own any products although I have them all, including Odyssey which I just purchased.

Why can I not access the webpages that seem to hold the answers to my problems? This link is an example https://customersupport.frontier.co...-AppConfig-Client-Log-Update-Log-Game-Folder-

I just want to play the game. Do I need to actually re-purchase everything from a different source? I can't even find a customer support number/chat function. What is going on here?

If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate if you'd share.

Well, for starters you need to link the account you had set up originally, a new account will have nothing.
I did do that. But shouldn't a new frontier account linked to an existing steam account show the products purchased on the Steam account? since that is why you link the accounts in the first place?

But again, I did link the original first. It showed no products purchased through Steam.

Just saw this in passing, but hopefully I can offer a lead for you to follow towards the solution.

Having purchased in 2016, you're definitely eligible to play by launching directly from the ED launcher, not necessarily through Steam. One less thing running is always a good thing.
When I purchased, I started playing using Steam but soon started launching the ED launcher directly and have not gone back. Be sure you're launching the ED Launcher, not trying to launch the game exe.
One specific problem that you mention:
I get an endless cycle of verify/you need to purchase the game loops. On the website, when I link my Steam account, it says I don't own any products although I have them all, including Odyssey which I just purchased.
...has been mentioned on these forums numerous times and there are solutions to be tried to correct it. I'm not able to scour the forums for you at the moment (RL is in my way), but I presume that it shouldn't be hard to find those posts if you look. Good luck! Please let us know here if you are successful or if more clues present themselves. Folks are typically pretty helpful and like to see people who want to play be able to do so.

I has been a long time since I did this, so memory is scant. I believe that I logged-in to my Frontier account (once I created it) and entered the keys / purchase-codes / whatever-they-call-them that I received from the Steam purchase. I followed instructions closely because I remember having heard that folks often had difficulty but everything worked without a hitch for me.

Hope to see you in the Black...

That might be your problem. If you had played ED previously, and possibly without the Steam Launcher, that Frontier account might have been set up for the FD launcher. Trying to launch via Steam won't work, re-linking it to a different FD account won't work either. And, in this case, linking the steam license of Odyssey to an FD license of ED(H) won't work, either.
Can't tell you why that link doesn't work for you - it doesn't work for me, either. Where you got that from?

Otherwise, on those pages that do work (like https://customersupport.frontier.co...e-platform-on-which-you-play-Elite-Dangerous- ), there's an unobtrusive link to tech support (small print, boxed "Submit a request"), that'll lead you to the customer service request form (or rather, guessing from the numeric in that link, a customer request form), similar to this one https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360003261340

Probably the fastest way to get this specific mess sorted.
