Open play trolls

Mr Null... mankind is always looking for an answer. If something happens with no logical explanation, people will endeavor to seek out answers, even when the chance of them being answered is almost impossible.

When no reason + no reason = no reason... people are happy
When no reason + no reason = valid reason, people lose computational process.

You had no bounty, were not wanted... yet someone shot you up because....:

no reason... or because you eyeballed me funny! At least with that last reason there was some kind of reason, even if it is cheesy lol

:)

If "wishing your family dies in a car wreck" fails to pass your threshold, one can only wonder what it would take to make it across frostyaw's finish line. Blowing up someone's unattended ship at the ruins?

If people say mean things and it bothers you just report and/or block them, personally I find it funny.

It's in a game Jason. If you can't handle people being upset in a game then don't be nasty to them - it's an entirely expected reaction.

You carebears need to toughen up.

Welp, this is why we don't see eye to eye on more issues, fellas; speaking to fundamental, "core" principles, I fully support the right of a player in a video game that places us in the cockpit of a futuristic murdermachine to blow up other players for any reason whatsoever...while you guys support the right of people to wish death upon people's families outside of the game because their feelings are hurt by something that happened in that game. Striking difference in personal philosophies, no?

I didnt think he did.
The white knights who post here wrote that message?

He was just using that as an example of things that are happening. They people deny.

Tell you what Ziggy, go play the bad guy for a while. Go kill some other players. And see for yourself. Every PVPer experiences this.

Once again this is all coming back to whos taking part in certain areas of the game. There are people that have experience. And people that dont.

Go try killing some traders at a imp vs fed CG.
Read the quote I replied to. It says: "I am only showing this here to show that the white knights that parade around here, are not what they seem.".

So kindly explain to me how the message he displayed in any way reflects on the white knights posting here unless he claims the people who write those sort of messages are the same people who are white knighting here.

Come off it Jason you are reaching so far you might fall of the edge.

Either man up and laugh at the comedy video game insults, or just block/report them. But don't bleat about it, because it's really not a big deal.

upon people's families outside of the game

Who said he was wishing it on his out of game family? I'm not seeing any such thing on the posted image - can you point to where you're seeing it?

We're supporting the right for people to be upset and say things in the heat of the moment when upsetting things are done to them, that shouldn't be a surprise when you're possibly destroying months of effort that they've poured their hearts into.

I'm pretty sure you know this and that it's reasonable to expect people to be understanding - this is just point scoring nonsense.

M'kay guys. Have it your way. I don't expect you to cop to what you're endorsing. I'm not "bleating" about anything, simply stating that there are lines people shouldn't cross, but since it's against a PvPer it's "anything goes," right? Hence the accusation (100% correct) by DeathDingo in the first place.

Seriously..? I doubt (sincerely hope) that if that kind of comment were reported to FD that some kind of action/warning would'nt be given.. Personally I would shrug it off, but there are circumstances where a comment such as that could cause real distress.. much more than a perceived loss in a video game.

Edit: typo

Would it still be griefing if, after killing some noob, we retrieved his escape pod, flew it back within sight of the nearest station, opened it up, smiled, then cannibalised his corpse?
I know it isn't in the game, but a guy can hope, right?

Read what I told you. I replied accordingly.

Go get some some experience. See how many times you are called bad names, threatened and what not.

or continue to do what you always do. And flap your gums with no experience.

Nobodies endorsed anything except blocking and/or reporting people who are mean in comm if you feel the need, whilst acknowledging some of the inevitable basics of human interaction.

You don't help your case by tacking conspiracy theories onto it, which oddly enough is also pretty basic (but as ever hilarious).

Not this again. Read the quote I replied to kiddo. I don't doubt the calling of bad names, I never contradicted nor questioned it, I fully expect those things to happen in an online multiplayer game.

And I explained what I was replying to, so I don't know what else to say to you.

Oh for frog's sake

That message linked earlier is clearly a case that should be reported, I guess that doesn't need discussing, but being called names and stuff is just a case of "behave like a jerk and you will be treated like a jerk" in my opinion. Means, if you act like a bully, you possibly are exactly what you are called. I think ignoring bullies still works best though.

"Behind Blue Eyes", huh? I think not.

No LOL nobody's said that and I don't believe you can show any evidence that they have.

Come on. Doesn't your skin crawl making these arguments?

Dingo made a wally of himself - trying to tar everyone because of the words of one player making an in-game response to an in-game action is utterly pathetic.

Again I think you know all this, it's just forumPvP and farming points 'being clever'

Its true though. People here think it doesnt happen because they dont get involved in it.

yet they get to run around spreading false information and giving feedback in areas the have no experience in.

Thats especially frustrating when Frontier looks for feedback in various places on the forums.

If he had any experience in this at all. He wouldnt even be making those posts. That goes for anyone here standing up for insulting PVPers.

And when I say something small like this, compared to things like ats or in dingos case, someone wished he and his family got in a car wreck. That usually goes unpunished while the PVPer gets punished.

Then we have guys like I am responding to that refuse to see those facts about experience or any history at all regarding this conversation between me and someone else.

Have a nice day.
