It complements ED nicely providing depth to exploration by giving the user the ability to create catalog findings and build Orrery maps in an interesting and robust manner. Indeed its 3rd party, but frankly that is ok and actually beneficial/preferred. If FD provided this in-game it would be extra overhead affecting dev cycles on base game support whereas the community can handle the requirement. I am all for these types of complements which enrich base ED. Excellent job/hats off to the Devs of Elite Galaxy Online. I just started a new long haul trip into the black for a Passenger exploration mission. Looking forward to complementing the trip with this online tool to capture/catalog the discoveries along the way! o7

Just browsing through here and saw your kind words on my site, glad your having fun with it. Hope you don't mind but I've used a ton of your images lately for the 2.1 update which is coming soon to represent a lot of the planetary material records which I'm adding.

Hey, I'm the sole developer of Elite Galaxy Online and agree with your point entirely :). I'm working hard to address this though and recently added something called the Comms Link which allows discoveries to be directly recorded without leaving your ship. Another update a bit further down the road which at this point I'm calling the ship module should make it even better to use elite Galaxy Online whilst playing the game. Its definitely something I'm focusing on.

Outstanding! I look forward to implementing this.
I like to be able to view a system from a 'birds-eye' view. It gives me a better perspective on where things are in a system and how they relate. In my ultimate fantasy experience I would like to have a little icon showing where my ship is within the system. I imagine those with VR would have a remarkable experience with a program like this.

Compliments to Cmdr Wolzan for creating this ... the only trouble I had was finding the Journal location but your other help was spot on .... looking forward to see what it does when I fly ....
