Okay, so

I went out and by chance found a thargoid sensor floating alone in space with no thargoids nearby at all, brought it back to obsidian orbital. I have the mission accepted and everything, I go into the missions page at the starport services, and there is no option to complete? What do I do?

Did he ask for a thargoid sensor? Previously I never saw him ask or that.

All he said was one unit of thargoid technology samples.
I tried save quitting and going back in.

I only have 2 and a half hours left and my previous reply is still moderated, but he only asked for a unit of thargoid tech samples and I brought the sensor, but idk what's wrong

Thargoid technology samples are a different item - see the mission guide linked in my sig - he asks for teck / biology or another - they're available nearby - locations listed
