It might just fit, as the Anaconda has some maneuvering space up and down. But you should never try to fit with the landing gear extended. They're gonna need a bigger mailbox................!!!!!!
Yes, ever since I switched from T9 to Anaconda I long to be in a real freighter again. The Anaconda being the best trading ship in the game is just awful. Even in trading config it's defensive capabilites are immense and it handles like a racecar. Its literally a flying brick lol. I MUST HAVE ONE!
This thread triggered a little nostalgia so decided to dig out my copy of FE II (Atari ST version). Found an St emu (steem) a floppy imager for the save disc, and fingers crossed I hoped to be able to see were I was 22 years ago.
Success, I managed to get this, still cannot remember much about how I played back then, I did not even recall being an empire Lord (I am a Fed in ED).

I also would love to see the Panther again, no doubt it would not be as indistructable as above, I can just about recall my favorite ways of killing myself were drilling through stations and ruing not saving for several hours.
Thanks for the reminder.
I loved my Panther, but to be fair it was a teensy bit imbalanced in certain situations. I recall attacking Earth with my fully beefed up Panther. I could take on the entire Sol defense force without being even slightly taxed. This was of course, partly due to the fact the defense force at Sol was awful and seemed to consist only of Vipers.
The big black thing on the nose looks like a glass cockpit
I agree about the glass, but that doesn't mean its a "cockpit" it maybe a proper "bridge" and hence not say all that much about the scale of the ship.
