Dear Mister Zorgon and Mrs Peterson.

I have with feverish anticipation, and later profound disappointment taken delivery and carried out an owner acceptance inspection of a new Panther Clipper Mk II heavy lift bulk cargo vessel.

The inspection report is most disappointing in its conclusions, in that the conning bridge materials, electrical distribution arrangements and operator interface technologies are sub standard for the equivalent ARX equivalent price of 15, 21st century United States dollars.

On the starboard side of the prime conning seat, there is a box shelf construction which is poorly finished using what appears to be melamine boarding with gaps not fully covered.

On both sides of the conning bridge, over excessive exposed lengths of 440v cable, Pilots Association safety protocols have not been observed.
Space classification society and pilot's associtaton rules stipulate that lengths of cable over 1m in length must be either passed through aluminium, steel or composite conduit or else laid and secured on cable trays. The arrangements in place at the moment are clearly dangerous and would cause catastrophic damage should the canopy be breached during combat.

In addition the control and indicator push buttons scattered in gangs all over the conning bridge were used in heavy industry control rooms back on earth back in the 20th century.

I can predict with confidence that these arrangements will not withstand day to day wear and tear, never mind heavy combat or collision situations.

Please inititate immediate recall of this very expensive but sub standard vessel, install improvements and offer the improved ship at no extra charge to all cmdrs..

Yours

Cmdr El Guido

Tired and fed up servant of the pompous, preening superscillious, sneering, over promoted, little Lord Fauntleroy, Denton Patreus.
Many of whose weekly power tasks are impossible to complete.
This is not a proper customer complaint.

I am sorry to say this but my friend and who have both played elite since it very first started will no longerplay this wonderful game if it isn't fixed in June.
We have talked at length about this and this our conclusion.

This is.

Panther released in an unacceptable state and I regret spending ARX on it.
  • hardpoints shooting through the hull almost made it into live
  • camera inertia is AWFUL and nausea-inducing. It's so overtuned that slightly bumping into anything is a seizure hazard.
  • engine rotation while rolling the ship is the opposite to how it should be
  • seams in the "bridge" that let you see outside through the ceiling
This is after they bragged on stream that the Panther was given extra attention due to being so big and a classic from the old games.

Hello development team.

First of all, thank you very much for the new ship, the Panther Clipper.
We bought it immediately to honor your work.
However, we would like to make one or two points:
(we don't know if you are already working on it) ?

- The entrance and exit gates of the stations are simply too small for this ship. There are extremely many problems when landing and or taking off from stations, even with other ships (even NPC's that fly in without consideration even if you are already in the exit) !
Quite a few players do not use automatic landing !
An enlargement of the entry and exit gates by double would be extremely pleasant.
Or a suggestion: landing pads, docking points for large ships like the Patha Clipper.

We look forward to the future.
(Perhaps also with walk-in ships) ;)

Thank you very much.
Best wishes from the ROAG Group

I smell hotfix time.
With the heat generated by the FSD, I get one of these every time I jump.

One silly question about the modules, if I replace, let's say the 7A shields, by another module, then shields are sold for 0 credits. How do I get them back? Thanks!

Is it worth trying to use a double-engineered FSD or does it always melt like in a T9?
Definitely use CG SCO drive with mass manager.

Mine is fine, but I have underclassed power plant and distro, stripped shields and weapons, then engineered plant for thermal. It will get a bit warm if you jump too close to the star, but that's the same for any ship.

Gets 34.83ly hauling 1200T with FSD booster and everything else stripped down. Can't complain.

Nah, the teasers always come on Twitter X. FU is the name drop a month later.
So the teasers will be a week on Thargsday at the earliest then.

If they could fix the bug that has NPC ships sitting on the outside of the toast-rack causing other NPC ships to queue up inside/outside the station and auto-dock to just join the unmoving queue, that would be great.

More than a few updates have come and gone yet this issue remains.
I tend to blame other players for this as I only encounter it at stations where I can see a couple or more other players present at the station.

So one of those nice to have fixed bugs that has a varied amount of impact on players.
