Panther Clipper Mk II Update | Available Now

hmm....

... ok but now i'm sorta confused because i thought everyone ( "everyone" aka vocal-minority? ) was indeed arguing for weeks over here in the other thread about how the CARGO capacity was "SUCH a disappointment" and "typical FDEV" , etc. . Are u guys now saying, on patch/pay day, all of that prior bloviating meant nothing?

Either way, despite the fact that i love both my T9 and grinded Imp Cutter, i'm def. gonna ARX this new Clipper just to fully $upport Elite Dangerous, a dying beautiful breed of sacred sandbox gaming, but still i'm lowkey curious as to why it seems maybe this time all the hate was just magically dropped on day 1 ?

Depends what you read/listen to. There were plenty of people who were happy with the specs as given in the Unlocked reveal.

Given I have dealt with scuzzy American publishers, I absolutely thought that's what they were going to try to pull. I'm glad I was wrong. But it shows you the sorry state of the gaming industry as a whole when the knee jerk expectation is, "How is company X going to put the screws to me."

Anyway, glad Phil clarified that. I'm waiting for him to actually put it on the patch notes.
Btw I own the Regular PC. No Stellar, My friend gave me a heads up before buying.. Hope what I said helps you decide. Definetly want to buy Regular is you're swapping out modules. After adding things, my rebuy was 15 mil. I also got Reactive Armor for 600 mil. My rebuy is now 45 mil. ;)

Here we go, first job: 1174 tons of titanium ready to ship to Nakajima Outpost under construction😊

I myself was hoping to be able to run 1200-1300t shielded, so only one size 7 or 8 rack more than we have. But even what we have already directly shows it's effect on the game. Even with only the ARX early adopters, the trade CG is getting significantly more contributions per hour than it did during the weekend. When you log into Mobius and look out from the station bar, it's a Panther parade, and only once in a while a Cutter or T9 appears.

yeah im already hearing that from buddies in game, about the racks being in stations, already went to the webpage and purchased it from there, regular version and a paint job. Tonight will be kitting and engineering, then FULL transport service for my colony, New Zootopia.

I put thermal armor on with Thermal Effect. Not finished engineering, I'm having troulbe getting Raws. I can't fly to coordinates on planet.

Can you grasp a concept that something can not be as good as one hoped it would be, but even in such non-perfect state it kicks out the existing competition?

Well, with more cargo, it's jump range would simply collapse under it's own laden weight or it would have needed the class 8 FSD, which would be fine laden, but very funny unladen. So if the class 8 FSD ever makes it's debut, it'll be on a very heavy ship.

I got the Panther and... I have notes. The ship looks fantastic, but in practice it is so large that outfitting and livery application needs an update. The hanger is too cramped and, in my carrier at least, too dark. It's nearly impossible to see what I am doing. In the case of outfitting, I cannot tell where I am putting the point defense modules because it's nearly pitch black...
