Patience

Yes.
Also, not telling anybody how to be. Just my stance and the benefits I get from it, and some facts.

Yeah I thought it was more that than what I said, I really should either read all of the OP's or not post till Ive had at least one coffee. :D

Talking of patience Im sitting in my Swedish class with a lot of people shouting at each other in arbic, which is ok but not when its over the teacher or another student. I try to be patient, but even I have a point where I want to turn around and tell them all to "please keep it down" or words to that effect.

Just to add I dont care where anyone comes from or what colour of skin anyone has or what lingo they speak.

Its about respecting the teacher and the fellow students. I wil stop now as this wasnt a thread about any of that but about patience and the expample I used was just that an expample of my patience wearing a bit thin. ;)

I was a patient before I climbed out a bathroom window and ran away naked in the night...singing kumbay ya mlord to make the daylight fairies appear again ^

No, I havent stopped playing and Im still quite laid back about the timelines...not even remotely worried but then again, Im a console player and console players are typically much more laid back than the masta race pc cousins anyway. Its tiring reading this tripe every day from ye lot...I can imagine now how the devs feel waking up till it every day ^

You mean, console players are laid back because they usually sit on a sofa while playing? That would even make sense if most of them wouldn't sit inconveniently on the rim of the sofa, leaned forward with pad in hand. :D

Uhm. I'm on PC actually. I'm leaned back since I am sitting on an Ikea Markus chair and play with a HOTAS. ;)

Ye do know that xbox and ps4 have HOTA sticks themselves nowadays? Flight sticks are no longer an exclusive to pc players, nor keyboard n mouse if they tickle yer fancy :p

Im actually lying down on several giant beanbags cos the sofa aint good fer me back...the chair is worse by several orders of magnitude...Im disabled so its an actual reason. Have the monitor mounted on rails that mean it can be wall mounted or suspended from the ceiling...made it meself though a m8 had to do the welding

I don't think i lack the patience, i'm even still hanging on until the completion of "Beyond" before considering buying "Horizons".
The thing about patience with ED is, what am i actually waiting for ?
Initially it was for the game to come anywhere close to what was described in the DDF.
I realized very early on, that won't happen.
Problem is, all that patience went hand in hand with a loss of passion.
And 3 years on i have turned from an invested player into a forum lurker, who's interest is mainly an academic one, looking from the outside in just to see where it all goes.
So yeah, plenty of patience here, but at the price of engagement and involvement.
