Pay2Win made it to Elite

Seems we hit rock bottom.
3 Month early access and pre-built ships for real life Moneys.

Store also seems to become more expensive since they used the word "Adjustment"

I never ever thought practices like this would make it to Elite.

Edit: This Issue now also got covered by a pretty big News Channel:

This is very sad news.

Earlier I raised the topic of financial injections, if money is really needed. But in the end everything went down a bad path.

But bloggers are happy. P2W content will roll. I hope this will be limited to pre-order for the impatient players, because I'm afraid it will finish the game...

Pulling a manouver like this SCREAMS desperation. This does not bode well......

They are doing what World of Tanks and MechWarrior Online style games do. MWO you can prebuy mechs when they are released then after a while, they can be bought in game with CBills. Not really P2W more like early access but we will see what's what. As far as the prebuilt packages Idk, we have to wait until they are in to see how good they are.

Don't make assumptions about whether I like this direction of travel or not by the way :)

What do you win in any online game. Odd question, slightly trolly.
It's not an odd question when the thread is called Pay2Win. It's a genuine question. As to what you win in an online game, well that entirely depends on the game.

There are no levels, no rares or legendaries to spend months hunting which are time gated. Buying a pre-built ship is a time saver that's for sure, but p2w..? I'm just not sure how it applies to this situation.

Pay to Win
Pay to Advance
Pay for Convenience…

It’s all, the same same concept: why play the game like a chump when you can simply open your wallet and skip ahead?
So like I did with the LEP I suppose before the Beta. (My Kickstarter pledge also allowed me to start with a Cobra Mk. III and 1,000 credits) Not that I thought others were chumps for not getting it, I just wanted to support the game's development to be clear.

I have nasty suspicion about somewhat later happening engineering "balancing" and "cost balancing" driving in-game prices and grind to max.
