People are asking for rollbacks on the RNGineers exploiters, shouldn't be the same to credit exploiters too?

Of course it gives you advantage in pvp having billions of credits by exploiting the game flaws. If I sit on 20 billions credits I don't care about rebuy and will pvp everyone without caring, if I have 100M left I can't be so careless or I risk losing all the money I made WITHOUT exploiting.

Having infinite rebuys is a huge advantage.

Having infinite rebuys does not win combat. However weapons with unreachable stats without cheating an in game coding mistake will win you combat. Me making billions of credits does not effect you making billions of credits. Blowing up my ship repeatedly with a cheat ship does effect me making billions.

See whats going on? Parity and the lack thereof. Credits effects no one unless you choose to. Credits do not make you good at flying and combat. However Engineering does make your ship better for combat and flying. With the rolls that they were getting and the fact that they attack in wings , no amount of combat or flight training will save you.

That is the difference.

I mean, I didn't did sothis/ceo etc exploits and because of that have many less credits than ppl who exploited these things, and bought the best ship/weapon etc.

Exactly the same as the exploit of RNGineers.

Exactly the same because YOU said it. Sure. Jealous? Were you banned for exploiting? Tihi.

Exactly the same as the exploit of RNGineers.

They are demonstrably NOT the same thing

Once you have a billion CR your killing power is maxed out. And CR exploits are always available to anyone.

Engineer cheats on the other hand, offered god rolls that increase your power over normal max rolls by cumulative total of over 100% for ships in your same class. That's makes the difference between god rolls vs max rolls roughly equivalent to the difference between E and A rated modules! And access to these rolls no longer exist except through a grind wall that is several years thick!

It will take people several years of grinding just to have a few of the community members get a *chance* to own legit god ships. Even then, the legit ones will be rare. Whereas CR exploits are available to anyone 90% of the time, so grinding for CR is open to anyone. The Engineer cheats have had the ladder pulled up behind them, so the cheats have been grandfathered in and we now have god ships roaming the galaxy unchallenged by legit ships for the next several years.

Hence No, the CR Exploits are NOT the same thing at all.

I can't really see FD doing anything about the RNG exploiters.
Is it really as bad as people are making out?
The problem lies with the fact they would probably upset quite a few of there paying costumers, and that doesn't make much business sense.
Surely eventually every serious pvp'er will have god roll outfitting.

For starters FD have already said that switching modes to refresh the boards is what they intended and is allowed, regardless if you do quince or sothis, I made 1 bil cr just from going back and forth between wu and hip 10716 for a few weeks work, since you can get practically every type of mission there you've always got maxed out mission log. And its great for empire rep/rank up missions
