Petition to make the hutton orbital mug a dashboard decoration (also include a cannon mug with additional biscuit)

Wait, the Hutton Mug isn't a dashboard decoration? Why? All these people going on about making the 6 million light second trip to Hutton that I thought it was also a dashboard decoration or a shoulder patch or something and not just a rare commodity. 6 million light seconds for a commodity? I got bronchitis, ain't nobody got time for that.

I would buy one, but it should be available ONLY to those who have got to Hutton Orbital.
Correct, only one allowed from the station, and get a choice sell it for a nice in game profit at some other station far away or redeem it at the FDev store for a bobble head.

FDev could use the same process that keeps a player from doing the RTR more than once. One is only allowed to buy one cup from the station and could either sell it somewhere for profit or turn it in at the FDev store for a bobble head.

not exactly what i was thinking, it should be a free in game reward. but instead of being able to have a hutton mug on every ship like other bobble heads it should be a unique dashboard decoration to be used on one ship only at a time, so if you have it on an anaconda you cant put it on your FDL or Asp scout unless you take it from the anaconda first. one single mug you take with you or store it

i have heard many time of people going to hutton orbital for the mug and free anaconda , so i want to petition FDev to make the mug a dashboard decoration obtainable on first trip to hutton orbital or Gnosis for the Cannon mug of gin and a biscuit. it would help in 2 ways, 1) a free dashboard decoration obtained through the game would be a way to get people buying more cosmetics from the frontier store, and 2) if people ask "have you ever been to hutton orbital?" your answer will be sure did and here is the mug to prove it.

so come one come all, and lets get an actual in game reward for flying .22ly in 90+ minutes.
yes to the hutton mug, no to the cannon one, i cant tell you how sick i am of hearing there name , no offense to canoners reading this comment

Honestly I think there should be cosmetics that are only available through gameplay, whether it be a Hutton mug on the dash or a specialised emblem on your ship for going to Colonia or a paintjob for getting top 10 at a CG, not all of it should be relegated to sales.

trust me, i am a little fed up with those cannon boffins getting the lions share of first discoveries, plus i would end up on there KOS list as i am not exactly a groupie lol

I'm one of the many who have suggested the mug dashboard item. a few different items you can only get after visiting a specific system or station would be really awesome, and would bring in more bucks i'm betting.

sign me up :D

I'd reckon that if the David were to go to Hutton, having a mug offered as a bobble head would appear promply. If not post haste or sooner. LOL

Indeed i agree, but further to that i'd like to see the vast majority of such ship customisations being available by default and for doing specific things in game - I've zero interest in microtransactions.. MAYBE some exclusive things should stay purchasable only for those who are willing to spend extra money on cosmetics, but i only buy dlc that has an actual effect on my gameplay and only if it's good value too, furthermore even IF i was thinking of buying any of Frontier's extra items, i'd prefer if i could buy them off PSN, rather than buying them off Frontier's own store... :) .

(Also on unlockable items, while ones for pretty hard to do things like getting into the top 10 in a CG should certainly be in there, i'd like many for easier things like getting into the top 75% or scoring your hundredth kill etc... :) .)

I agree that a Hutton Mug should be given to every player who makes it there, but only in the ship that they used. In game award. Not at the Frontier store. No bobbling, though the choice of beverage can slosh to the motion. No slopping out please. I went in an FDL. No coffee/gin/whatever stains on the leather please. (Nobody eats anything, or drinks anything but water in my car. That's not gonna change. Much.)

The cargo Mugs should be sellable. Not the You Did It award. If you could sell it much of the point would be lost.

I have absolutely no problem spending money to support Frontier. I hope they all get filthy rich off of Elite: Dangerous. If they ever make a dashboard hula girl I'll buy one as soon as I see it available.

Yeah huge gameplay opportunity missed out with the ship kits. Could have been a been an excellent visual reference as to the actual capabilities of the ships. Same goes for weapon and thruster colours. An oddity as well because engineered effects do change the color of weapons (something you can now hide). They should have stuck to paintjobs. I like the cosmetics but I'd have liked the gameplay they could have represented a lot more.

Hutton mug, yes please! But I'd like to emphasise "mug", not bobble mug.

A free cosmetic reward for some achievements would be nice.
