The following details the requirements for rank progression. As of now (Pre 1.2, see note), trade and exploration are fairly accurate, however combat still requires figuring out and more information, so please post if you know anything.

*The information above applies to the game prior to version 1.2. Since 1.2 was released profits have been scaled in various ways, presumably adjusting rank progression. For example, exploration profits were approximately doubled so I'd expected to see rank progressions at x2 each value in that category. As such, for the sake of avoiding confusion, I will not update this list with any new information for now as the old numbers may be conflicting with the new ones.
