Planet Coaster 2 | Announcement Trailer

Looking really great. I love the summer feel, quite fitting at the moment. Wonder if all previous coasters and building items will be there.

When I think about how frustrated I was with Planet Coaster when i stopped playing, there isn't enough information to get me hyped. Decorating rides is nice, yes. Some features we already have at parkitect are nice to have too, but how does the water park affect what was "fixed" in the game and what we get.

Are there finally midway games? Is the coaster builder free again to do what we want like it was in Alpha way back? Do we have double stations now? I don't see any kiddie rides in the trailer or screenshots. Are family rides made kiddie again? Is there a spooky theme? Etc. etc. etc.
I'm also a bit thinking like this.

Yeah waterparks is nice, I expected the first big DLC for Planet Coaster 1 to be water parks. But I think it was too complicated to do as a DLC.

So now having waterparks is awesome, but i really hope they dont cut the coaster aspect short. Many things were never implemented that were hinted during the dev diaries of planet coaster 1. Such as transfer tracks, dual stations. I also would very much like a way to save elements because the way elements such as inversions work in planco 1 is really bad you dont have continuous roll or anything the track always goes straight into every corkscrew. Also better smoothing obviously

I haven't played before but I've been PC curious, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this one comes out! Since Frontier I definitely am going to wait until after release and see reviews first before making a decision to buy.

I think we all forget that water rides were an afterthought in the first Planet Coaster. They only added the log flume and rapids at the last minute due to feedback by the community wanting them. The water physics weren't as good as RCT3 which made it difficult to do water slides, pools, etc. properly. The game engine in PC2 is all new, it's overhauled, I think they are using the Zoo engine which is better than PC1's engine. The countdown and surprise announcement of PC2 yesterday morning caught me off guard. I just happened to check this site and saw something about park noises and water noises on their stream and searched for it and found it and there was a countdown with a tropical looking game in the background with a vertical coaster track. I wondered is this finally PC2? And when the countdown ended, PC2 was finally revealed with water park elements like RCT3 Soaked! but much better graphics.

What would be cool is having a option to build without management problems .....just build for a beautiful park , whithout money problems or staff problems ...or problems, problems ......

Hello, I'm so excited for the newest edition of Planet Coaster 2. I'm hope they incorporate the character to walk around the park to take pictures or videos while riding so that we can take those pictures and videos and share with our audience on our social medial platforms as I thought that would be fun to encourage people what this new game engine could do. I'm a vlogger and hope that we can show off our great parks on YouTube, Facebook, X, Twitter, Snapchat, Tic Tok etc.

What I hope for on July 31 is that they don't go full on waterpark simulator. Ye alright it's a big feature, show it quite a bit, we all know it's gonna be great,BUT what is my selling point for this game is how they have improved planet coaster 1. We have already heard some stuff about this from Rudi and others that saw the demo, but I need to hear a lot more.

Does this mean that they stopped support for Planet Coaster 1, that is they won't release any new content packs for it? So, going forward, they will be supporting PC2 with content packs and stuff? Is that why there were no new content packs since Ghostbusters? They wanted to develop PC2 instead?

As far as what had been said from various sources, the game reached it's performance limits.

So HYPED for this game!!! I've been wanting to build realistic and super detailed waterparks since PC1. RCT3 Soaked was great, but it just didn't have as much realism and going into detail as will PC2. Plus, it going to have more slides than RCT3 Soaked on top of all that!

I know it's a bit early to start taking suggestions before I even seen the full game and content but...
I really do hope to see not just weather, but temperature and seasons. I truly hope that they will affect guests and rides. For example if it's hot guests will want to ride water rides or want to go to the water park. If it's cold it'll be the opposite "during cold/snowing/winter season". During thunder/lightning storms all rides will be close until the storm passes both theme parks and waterparks.

I also want to see Jacuzzis, Water Jungle Gyms/Playgrounds, Whirl pools, Splash Pads, showers, lockers, and Tiki Bars in pools to make it in the game.

Another suggestion is instead of park operators opperating the water slides it'll be life guards like in real life.

I would love to see the life guards having the option to use these flotation devices as'well.

Does anybody know what the minimum requirements are for the Windows version? I'm afraid it might only work on Win 10 and up and I have PC1 on Win 8.1.

We already have the swings ride and medium size ferris wheel that looks like a Chance wheel in PC1. The other ride looks like a double inverting ride like we currently have.
Correct, but we can add this to the list of rides that will be in PC2 now. You also missed the drop tower ride next to the swing ride that was in PC1.
