Planet Coaster 2 - Confirmed Rides

You know? I'd love to get Huss TriStar lol, I keep repeating this everywhere I can, but heck, the original TriStar was soo unique. Another cool ride would be the triple Ferris wheel too, it'd give parks an awesome skyline tbh.

It's great to see Planet Coaster 2 announced with the great addition of waterparks! Needless to say the rides remain the most important feature of the game.
It's already confirmed that some rides will return from Planet Coaster 1, but what does that mean? Does it mean all rides? A few?
Personally I would love to get all the rides back, but I guess there are a few reasons to decide otherwise :

1. IP rides
If a licence was needed I can understand the ride will not carry over to Planet Coaster 2, for example the GhostBuster rides.

2. Duplicate rides
Due to the technical workings of Planet Coaster every new car came as it's own ride. Lets say the Magic Katz, Luna Cars and Sleighride all get replaced by a new ride that holds all 3 car types. Im totally up for that.

3. Ride Update
Older tower rides were not flexible in height while some newer tower rides were. This means they could replace Ascendance and Hyperjump for a flexible height ride. Again, Im totally up for that.

But other then the reasons above, I have my fingers crossed that all rides from Planet Coaster 1 will return. Since I'm a geek for lists I will keep track of all old (and new) rides we get for Planet Coaster 2.

Let me know once you spot a ride (and it has to be 100% confirmed) so I can update the list. Thanks!

Edit 14.08.2024 : Hammer Swing, Big Wheel
Edit 16.08.2024 : Invincible Giga Coaster
Edit 22.08.2024 : Added confirmations from the GamesCom build.
That is not a 4-seat booster. That is a Zetta Swing called Behemoth Swing 360.

Well, they are ending sales of the Ghostbusters DLC on Sept. 6 because the license expired. It will probably not be re-released in 2. I guess licenses cost money so they let the license expire and new buyers will not be able to get the Ghostbusters pack. I can see a lot of Frontier created rides returning, though and maybe some new variants like the kiddie ferris wheel.

Excel files are nice and easy but nothing beats a visual picture. I just replaced the list with actual pictures.

Feel free to let me know if something is wrong or incomplete.

I marked the 2 junior coasters (Wendigo and Dragon) as soft confirmed. We know we will get a junior coaster but we don't know if it will be the dragon, wendigo or a totally new one. Therefore they are confirmed in orange.
The mouse coaster is listed as new since it doesn't entirely fit the description for the crazy mouse from Planet Coaster 1. If this assumtion turns out wrong, I will update ofcourse.

Since the Ghostbusters DLC is no longer available I think its very safe to assume all IP rides are disconfirmed. Therefore i colored them all red.

Updated yet again to have a visual display of the NEW rides as well. Where possible I used ingame pictures, when not available we tried to add real life picture's of the ride that fits the description. However keep in mind it's not confirmed the ride will look exactly like it, this is the best we could do. When more information is available I will make an update again.

Thanks to @Crowdpleaser for helping out and getting the images.

You should add a section for all the confirmed water slides since it will be it's own section/category now.
I would gladly do so, but for now it's "only" 4 slide types confirmed available (and doubt if there will be many more?!?), and for none I have an icon :D

Well I mean you could put like the different special end pieces and start pieces because it seems that it's more about those and less about the types of slides

Yes I agree, the pieces make them mostly unique. I might do so once there are more icon's available :D
(Im also hoping for more water coaster-ish types)

One thing I have not seen a single person talk about that I think would bring this game to another level is to make multi parks on one map, think universal how islands and studios are right next to each other and they have the hogsmede running back and forth. Imagine that for a water park. I'm crossing my fingers that this is one of there "surprises" they are still hiding but seeing the bus ride gives me hope since there are no hotels for those buses to run to. On top of all that this would give us the option to put shops and rides outside of the actual ticket booths such as an information/guest relations building because that's outside of every park or even bathrooms. these little things can just bring the game to the next level.

At the risk of sounding ungrateful, I kinda wish you had kept the text base while adding the images in as well. I liked the way the text base had the special notes and was more detailed if you will but the pics also add a nice visual reference. Either way, I am still very happy and appreciative of this that you (with the help of others that are also awesome) are putting together. Keep up the awesomeness! :)

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree both way's have pro's and con's. The list was more easy as it was more easy to write text. But the downside is most people wouldn't remember which ride it was when they see most ride names :D

For the confirmed slides you could do real life pictures I think. It's great to have this list. Thanks for mainting it Vampiro.😃

I think I'm a bit more positive. Given how many coasters make a return (we have seen only about half of what was in the last build) I would guess the Cascade is still there. :)

I fully realise it's all based on thinking and there are no real clues either way.

I honestly don't know. It doesn't seem like it and the new watercoasters track and features are very similar, except it has turntables now.
I also think it will be back, super splash isn‘t a better version of cascade, its a stand-alone coaster type and even for e.g. europa park has both of them in. So i think we‘ll have em both available.
