I dont know if anyone saw on the steam forums but someone apparently asked support about the issue and they confirmed there was an issue with the rewards around the event.

Still no confirmation on when the challenge actually took place? Since they told us 3rd - 6th but also 24hrs in the same sentence?? If it really was 24hrs at some stage between those 3 days, MANY people have missed out as it wasn't made clear at all.Credit goes to to superdysfunctional over the Reddit who wrote to Frontier support. It seems it really is a bug and Frontier is aware of it.
Im going to take a wild guess and say the 24 hours happened on the 5th which the actual anniversary is but the rewards for any released animals seem to never occured. The rather vague response from support doesn't really answer any of the questions being asked here.
To add onto it, if they can reply via support to one person, why haven't they made a post about it? Thousands of people are wondering what is going on and its been radio silence. Very unusual on Frontiers side.
Right, that's the biggest question here. Hopefully they can get everyone the animals they earned, but I'm most frustrated that they never said when to release animals. I vote we just redo the whole thing haha
I hope they either count all the animals released from 3rd-6th or the overall weekly challenge. Otherwise a LOT of people will be rightfully ticked off.
The rewards should be based off the duration of the event, so I think the 24hrs was probably a typo. They probably meant 72hrs?

Exactly? Someone really screwed up this one and now thousands of players are wondering what on earth is going on with absolutely no communication from Frontier whatsoever about the issue (apart from one possible support ticket but doesn't look quite right)
Yeah. I would have liked to see them post at least something here on the Forums - as they've done before. But it hasn't even been 24hrs since the event ended. I'm not in a hurry.
Yeah, i'm willing that they are still discussing how to make this go, because the event never showed up as live for me. Even when I miss an event it;ll usually show it in the community challenge for a week or so, and it still shows the Wippi event.
And likely trying to figure what went wrong and are just waiting to have enough information before announcing any course of action.
I am not too sad about not getting animals. But since we have no other way of getting new outfits, I would love it they simply add a new outfit to the next update and forget about the challenge.
