Why are we all so concerned about things that we can reasonably assume? The sifaka hopped, the gibbons swung, the proboscis monkey and saki get dimorphism, why would we assume the coyote won't get their own sound?
Now I get complaining if it were after the fact - after all the pangolin doesn't climb, Nile monitor doesn't deep-dive, Malaysian tapir was a literal clone - but at this point it's just doomthinking. And all the bad examples are either from the base game or have been fixed.

I noticed that it always starts with one person mentioning it and then the paranoia spreads, lol.
LOL, just realized something that in the Frontier Publisher sale we get the super awesome Wisent in Oceania.
Now that's interesting, I've not heard it used like that before. Here the Australian continent pertained specifically to Australia (including Tasmania) and the broader region was usually referred to as Australasia (which is now considered a sub-region of Oceania). Most books I had also used similar terminology, I only really learnt what Oceania was once I started looking online.
What animals have the wrong sounds exactly?
I've heard people complain about the donkey, but that's about it... And even then, I've heard the donkey making donkey sounds at least twice in game, and it makes donkey sounds in the Barnyard trailer

Let's not come for staff in quotes it is bordering abusive. You wouldn't yell at a shop clerk (I would hope). It's getting embarassing around here.

The other day I was trying to draw a coati and I was shocked by their skull morphology...
Coatis are so cute but I'm somewhat creeped out by the lack of bones in their long snout

A lot of people say this as though it excuses poor quality sound effects in the game. It doesn't. The neighing donkey is still bad.
Of course we also don't know what the new animals will sound like yet so there's no need for anyone to jump the gun.
I'm not trying to excuse anything, I'm just saying that wrong sounds don't personally affect me. Of course I prefer to have accurate sounds, but it's simply not going to bother me in any way.
Also the only times I've heard the donkey make any sound it was a donkey sound so I'm confused... Tomorrow I'll just sit there watching the donkeys for an hour and see if I notice the problem
A lot.of animals kill dogs, it's not entirely fair to paint the coyote in that light. Wild boar kill things all across the world yet nobody brings it up here
That is excusing it.
"They might be wrong but I don't actually care" is excusing poor quality.
If it makes you feel any better I don't like the wild boar much more than I like the coyote, but not for that reason.
Then what should I do? Complain about something that I really couldn't care less about?
