When I build zoo exhibits, I like to group animals from similar regions together.

Part of me is really hoping we'll also get water gates for rides since the animals are getting upgraded so a lot of the barrier tricks might be going away there.

Their range map in the zoopedia also see them as Canis lupus without a subspecies. My theory is that they were planning on making it Canis lupus occidentalis, but changed it to just Canis lupus late in the process, so they could argue that Europe was represented in the base game. I am pretty sure they announced before the game came out that every continent (without Antarctica) would be represented from the start.

That's pretty much my theory, too. All the promo images made them look far more like North American wolves, and even the common name 'timber wolf' applies to the Northwestern subspecies more than the species as a whole, so it makes sense that it was originally intended as one thing and then changed later.

@Lea_G I know how you feel since dlc drops on Tuesday I have to work too lol. This pack is simply amazing.

Really hard to wait But I'm glad it drops already this week, because I won't have my computer with me for the holidays, so at least I can enjoy two weekends plus the evenings before christmas!

The seal looks gorgeous, and it seems to be diving in relatively shallow water! I expected diving animals to need ~3m water depth in order to prompt diving animations.
Looks very promising.

The seals can have brown fur, I've just googled some pictures. And yes, it really is "saying" in English as far as i know. I was lucky with all the DLCs so far and didn't encounter major bugs on release day, so I hope I'll be lucky again.

That's really the only time I can play as well - usually I'm too tired after work to concentrate and the weekends are jam-packed with chores and errands. Insert political statement here .

I'm planning on taking a sick-day tomorrow but we have a container full of stock due this week so it might not work out. If it arrives and I take a day off my boss will (figuratively) chop off my head.
