Planet Zoo: Arid Animal Pack Releasing 20 June 🐪

I’m assuming this announcement post was written using the proper term, and it got caught by the filter like countless of our posts over the years. They really need to allow that specific word on at least the Planet Zoo related forums now that it’s going to be an animal in the game.
Well, y'all know how I feel about African Antelopes....SIGH but I'm still buying of course because of the Crested Porcupine. And in all honestly, that's the ONLY animal that I have a keen interest in, though I know I'll warm up to the Sand Cat (no pun intended) and at last we get a third equid, so happy for @nutrit ! For me personally, probably the least interesting pack released so far though, mainly saved by a total of one animal. Not a single one of the other animals was even in my top 50 wanted habitat animals, to show how lackluster this pack is for me. .
ETA the Crested Porcupine does look absolutely incredible and I cannot imagine the work involved to get the quills right while animating.
I'm absolutely sad that there's no Secretary Bird. RIP hopes of more Habitat Birds - with the exception of the Kiwi possibly - much less exhibit birds.

The animals shown look really incredible!
Love the Porcupine and the Dromedary looks like it will have some cool coat variations.
Got to say it is a bit ungulate heavy in my opinion. Would love Hamadryas Baboon, Secretary Bird or African Spurred Tortoise instead of 5 ungulates. I like all the species as a standalone, but in one pack I am missing some animal type variation.
Nonetheless I am still very excited and gratefuil for the continued support. Will buy for sure, thank you PZ team.

Finally, African crested porcupines. I'm beyond hyped to finally have those. The sand cat is also cool as we've not had a feline that size yet. I'm also happy to see a new snake, I was worried we wouldn't be getting any since the focus seemed to be walkthrough exhibit animals.
Sadly, I'm indifferent to the rest of the pack. I think the dama gazelle could have been something better and more unique since the pack is very ungulate-heavy. I was hoping for a baboon and African spurred tortoise.

Did you see the Porcupine?
AMAZING HYPE ! based on the animal selection this animal pack finally hit it perfectly for me, all of these are animals i will be using and the majority was on my personal wishlist! The Sandcat looks like it will be the most adorable animal in Planet Zoo !!! Overall a perfect line up and perfectly balanced. The addition of the porcupine is amazing! And the physics of the quills look so great.
Only possible thing i could change is the Dama gazelle for a big antelope like the greater kudu or giant eland, but i love that we are getting two antelopes, because i personally think we can never have too many of them.

Also, since no one else has mentioned them yet, I’ll be the first to say DAMA GAZELLE HYPE. They’ve always been a low key hope of mine that I never expected to get because of the higher priority addax, but then we just went and got them both as once. Amazing.
Also, if anything, this game is missing hoofstock, as you may notice when you go to any zoo. Also fowl and waterbirds, and small primates.
The fact that we had gotten both the springbok and the Tommie at release (well, one was on Deluxe, but they all were there at release) and not a Dama gazelle, was something that puzzled me. Oh well, still hoping we get gerenuks, saigas and blackbucks before support ends.
