Has anyone else gotten weird striped water reflections in the exhibit? This box is for newts. Haven't tested for other aquatic species yet

Regarding the Crash Problem: for some Players it might help to update the GPU Driver. It's working fine for me now.
I've sent my File to Frontier anyways in the Hope that it might still be useful somehow

While I love the cute run animation with their wings outstretched for the chickens I really wish it didn’t happen every time and they had a normal run animation too. Also can we please make it so hens don’t crow, I know they sometimes do irl but it’s not common. (Source owned various breeds of chickens for over 30 years and never had a hen that crowed) Ignore me about the crowing part, turns out it was a Rooster that crowed, thought I had removed them all and only had hens but one was hiding in the barn. Opps!

A bit late, but these are my thoughts of the DLC and update 1.17 after having tested all the new animals.

- I like the concept of the pack. Petting zoos are very common in zoos and people have been requested this for ages.

- The animals are good, although I would have made some different choices:
  • I like the Alpaca and I hope Frontier adds the taiga biome to the animal.
  • The sheep is also good. It looks very generic, which I like.
  • The pig is ok. Nothing special, nothing bad.
  • The chicken is the best animal of the pack. The sounds, the movements, the fact that they can walk on shallow water and use the bubble enrichment items... They clearly got the best treatment.
  • The highland cow model looks good, but it's true that it looks very small. I think Frontier should have just called them "Miniature Highlands cattle" or made them bigger.
  • The alpine goat is a bad choice. They look very similar to the Alpine ibex except for a lot of colour variations. Frontier should have given us the African pigmy goat instead. Also they can't use the goat mountain enrichment item.
  • The standard donkey is ok but it's too similar to the Somali wild ass. If they had the dorsal strip mark they would be better. I would gladly change them for a rabbit.
- The foliage is good. I love the new tree and hedge. However, I don't understand why we got new buddleja bushes in a small size but not a copy of the same one in the exhibit box.

- The animal encounters are a nice addition, but if I'm honest, I don't think I will use them a lot. I'm not sure if the animals included are a good idea since it can give the idea that petting monkeys, lemurs or raccoons is good. I think this should be limited to farm animals.

- The building pieces are good, especially the barrel, hay bales and the new fences and gates. However, I still think we should have received new barriers in addition to the new fences. The piece count using the new fences rises up quickly.

Overall, I think the animals and the update are Ok and a nice addition, but it's far from being perfect. The update is sadly a bit disappointing for me since the new feature is great but very specific. I miss other small things like making the emu walkthrough compatible, adding burrow to Arctic fox, adding the Africa tag to red deer or making the Nile monitor able to dive.

I'm happy with the DLC, but it falls to the last position of my ranking because all other packs have something that excite me more.

Genuine question, but I keep hearing things about how guests are phasing through animals in the petting zoos. Is it common, because my guests aren't phasing through them at all

Definitely. I find it weird that they didn't do that. For the Hamster it depends on the Species though.
They could've added Mice or Barn Owls. They could've also gone more into a general Pet Direction and could've chosen Budgies. It's definitely a bit disappointing. A Species from the Genus Lacerta would've also fit nicely (especially fits well with the Rock Walls from that one Gate Blueprint. Goldfish would've also been a relatively good Exhibit Animal. Carp would of course be better, but I think for those we would need a bigger Exhibit
I think a "domesticated" reptile like the corn snake or leopard gecko would've been perfect choices for the exhibit in this pack. Really a missed opportunity to get one of the very common reptiles.

Hello, Forums! After being locked out and trying to get into my old account @SanRazo618 I've decided to give up and make a new one (Frontier should really fix the login it continuously wouldn't let me log in and say there's someone with the account when the someone is literally me, super frustrating). I've been lurking and checking in on my community for a while now, so technically I haven't gone anywhere! I gotta say I love the Barnyard pack even though I would've changed the breeds but a Petting Zoo pack was necessary for a zoo game and I have found so much inspiration with everything the new pack is offering! This usually happens with packs that have animals that are common in zoos as it feels like it's way easier for me to fit them into my zoos.

Excited to be back in my community! Love you guys!
