Oh, yeah,
@Urufu1997 I got distracted but I wanted to ask you about this:
I hope they will only include Variations that can be also found in the Wild but maybe they could implement some System that you have a Chance to get a domestic Variation if you breed with White Peafowl. But they shouldn't just occur if you only breed the normal Peafowl. I wonder if we will even get Variations for them
What does a white peafowl have to do with domestic color variations? Most domestic color/pattern/shape variation seem in domestic animals came from wild stock, and theoretically could appear in a wild population, they just generally don't last very well in nature. Selective breeding just "stabilizes" the mutation and seeks to create a population that breeds true. (This all is less true for species that have domesticated for a really long time, like dogs). Do you know of a genetic link between white peafowl and domestic colors? Or is this more of just a game mechanic request?
Also yes, I am talking about Spalding peafowl. Hobbyist peafowl breeding websites look a bit chaotic for someone with little knowledge of peafowls (like me), but I
think some color lines listed spaldings in their lineages. I am not certain though. It also seems like some varieties have just been found in random amateur backyard experiments where no one has any idea what really went into them, so who knows.
