I made my own shop. It loaded and ran just fine for a few days, then yesterday just… corrupt.

Own shop, zoo closed, no guests.
I know that some others have had success with doing this, however for me it did not work. I was able to get into an older file where I had added just the start of a souvenir shop. After my newest save didn't work I tried opening this older save and it did work (at first) so I removed all parts of the souvenir shop and moved onto something else while it (hopefully) gets fixed/worked on. Played in this older save for a few hours last night and then when I went to play this morning that file is also now corrupt. There is no longer a souvenir shop in that file.
Shoot. Maybe I’ll just stop playing until the big gets fixed? How long will it be?
Eeek, I thought deleting a started workshop should be enough. Now this sound like a complete PZ break would be better.
As much as I don’t want to take a break, it might be my only option.
Like I mentioned yesterday, expect the major patch to arrive in mid January. Usually only minor bug patches occur in december unless the dev team is working late this year which I doubt.
This could be a situation where they try to do a hot fix, but given how understaffed they are I wouldn't count on it. That's what upper Management gets when they make bad decisions.
I am dreaming? Frontier you fixed the Clouded leopard and updated Malaysian tapir?!? It is best update now for me

Anyone else experiencing animals stuck in a boxing/unboxing loop?
I have this with my polar bear cub and I can't get it to stop. They are being boxed and unboxed at the habitat gate and deleting the gate and placing it somewhere else didn't have any effect. The loop will just move to the newly placed gate. Restarting the game didn't fix it either. I can't move the bear, can't do anything. It's stuck in that loop. :/

Ah the infamous box loop, not a new bug of any sort but the most difficult to solve. The animal pathfinding is completely bugged out meaning you added something that upset the bears pathfinding or the bear got somewhere where it shouldn't of. Either you need to fix the animal traverse area, force a hard reset of Traversable area by placing a large enrichment item near the entrance to trap the animal which hopefully prevents the loop or even try to move the animal in pause to a quarantine if the game allows you to. Worst case scenario is to remove all gates, barriers and paths in the bugged area and start again.
I wish the Takin would have used the Mountain Goat enrichment item

I now also have a saved file containing a gift shop which I can't open anymore...
Here I would like to share with you guys my experience. After each big update, I will not choose to play the first time, I will generally choose his first patch after patch, and then experience. Forgive me for treating you guys like lab rats. I didn't mean to.LOL

On a more positive note, my save file mishap was just what I needed to push me back into franchise mode after a two year hiatus! The animals from this newest pack have been some of my favorites to add in there. I am still very happy with the latest update as I think it is my favorite free update we have ever had and these DLC animals are seriously gorgeous
