I believe it is all modes, I have heard both franchise and sandbox players encountering issues.
Sandbox. It worked the first time I opened the map again after placing the shop. But now I can't get in no matter how many times I try
Okay, thanks for that. Doesn't get us any closer to the mystery but it does rule out specific mode of play. I'm really curious why some are having this issue and some aren't.
I'm trying to go a bit in and out of a save for the new career map both as a career version and sandbox version. To see if that end up crashing too because it contains a shop. So far no problems

Really feel for those who are affecting thus far - and who knows one of my games might trigger it for me too. The good news is that it's almost certainly something fixable. I have had problems with zoos loading in past updates that, once patched, they would load just fine. Of course it's not been something like the big free update feature being a problem.
Did you guys with affected / non-affected files have shelfs toggled to pure decorative?
All mine were selling items
I don't think I did much more than just placing the shop and some extra floor pieces
And here we are, I'm also part of the people's that experiencing crashing due to the Gift Shop lol.
It failed for me without even putting items on the shelves, I was just creating the design of the distribution of the items in the store and saved it. The first time I was able to open it, but the second time, without making any changes because I didn't have time, it no longer opened and the program closed. I have it saved as a plan so I can use it when the problem is solved.
Okay. I was wondering if that was the trigger, but apparently not. I really hope they can fix this before the holidays, sigh

This DLC is so good, the swan, the takin, the wolverine, the tortoise, all great. only disappointment is the saiga (where is my Muntjac and/or blackbuck).
how, just how. at least the blackbuck is in the top 30s.
